Base Location Configuration

The base location configuration is a feature that allows the user to set up a particular location as a base for their fleet operations. This feature is particularly useful for businesses that have a central location such as warehouse, godown, etc. where their vehicles are parked or dispatched from.

By configuring a base location, a user can:

1. Monitor the entry and exit of vehicles from the base location
2. Track the time spent by each vehicle at the base location
3. Get alerts when a vehicle enters or exits the base location

To get started 

• Login to your account.
• Go to  Settings > Master > Base Location Configuration

• Click on the ➕ button on the taskbar.
  
  
  • Select the Company from the dropdown list.
  • Select the Branch from the dropdown list.
  • Select the Objects from the dropdown list.
    
  • Select if Trip start and end geofence same.
    • No: Select No if the trip start and end geofence are not same
      
      
      • Select the Configuration.
        • One Way: Select one way if the trip is one way.
          
          
          • Select the Base Location Start geofence from the dropdown list.
          • Select the Base Location End geofence from the dropdown list.
        • Return: Select return if it is going to be a return trip.
          
          
          • Select the Base Location Start geofence from the dropdown list.
          • Select the Base Location End geofence from the dropdown list.
          • Enter the Approx Duration in hr.
          • Enter the Approx Distance in km.
        • Select the Trip start/end condition.
          

• • • Yes: Select Yes if the trip start and end geofence are same.
      
      
      • Select the Base Location Start geofence from the dropdown list.
      • Select the Trip start/end condition.
  • Select the Valid From time from the date and time picker.
    
  • Select the Valid To time from the date and time picker.
  • Click on the Save 💾 icon.
