Admin can set up alert notification templates. It can be inherited in Reseller as well as the Company account. Customized alerts and notifications can be added for the object according to the requirements.
Please Note: This document guides the way to set templates for admin account.
Same process can be followed to set templates for reseller and company accounts.
Before You Get Started
You have to Configure Email service and Configure SMS service for the account so that the message can be sent.
To Get Started
- Login to your account.
- Go to Settings > General > Admin/ Reseller/ Company.
- Double-click on the account you want to set templates for.
Please Note:- In case you want to edit an existing template, you will only be able to edit the description, SMS message and default fields.
To Setup Template
- Click on Add Template.
- Click the Name drop-down menu and select an alert or notification name.
- Enter the description for the user's reference in the Description field.
- In the SMS Message field enter the alert or notification message to be sent. Make use of the Variable Names provided on the Right Side of the Name field for drafting the SMS message.
- In the Email Subject field enter the subject of the email template. Make use of the Variable Names provided on the Right Side of the Name field for drafting the SMS message.
- In the Email Message field enter the alert or notification message to be sent. Make use of the Variable Names provided on the Right Side of the Name field for drafting the Email message.
For Example:- If you want to set a location alert, the alert can be customized as:-
Location Alert- Your vehicle %plateno% with current speed %speed% on %datetime% is at %location%.
- To add a customized alert or notification in any other language according to the location, make use of the Default field to enter the message.
- Click on the Save 💾 button.
