The system allows you to configure Email Service to send alerts and reports directly to users via email. Admin can set up the Email configuration on their account, and it will automatically be inherited by Resellers and Company users if they have not set up their own Email configurations.
Before You Get Started
Purchase the Bulk Email service from a service provider that meets your needs, selecting from one of the options below:
- SMTP: SMTP is a protocol specifically designed for sending and relaying emails between servers or from a client to a server.
- POST: The POST method is a general HTTP request method used to send data from a client to a server over the web. It is commonly used in web forms and APIs, including some web-based email services.
To Get Started
- Login to your account.
- Go to Settings > General > Admin.
- Double-click on the account for which you want to configure email service.
- Navigate to Email tab.
- Double-click on the account for which you want to configure email service.
To Configure Email Service
- Choose the appropriate method that matches the email configuration you have purchased from the available options.
- SMTP / POST
For SMTP Method :
- In From Email Address, enter the email address that will be used to send emails through the software.
- Enter Username, Password, Host, and Outgoing Port provided by your service provider.
- To enable SMTP Authentication click on the checkbox given.
SMTP Authentication ensures that only authorized users can send emails through the server, enhancing security and deliverability. Please verify with your Email Service Provider that this feature is enabled before selecting the same.
- To enable TLS Authentication click on the checkbox given.
TLS (Transport Layer Security) is a protocol that encrypts data transmitted over the internet for secure communication. Ensure this feature is activated by your Email Service Provider before enabling it.
- To enable Email Verification, check the provided checkbox. This feature ensures that the system sends a verification email to the recipient. Only after the recipient confirms their email address, the system will be authorized to send additional emails.
- Click on the Test configuration button to test if the configuration is working.
- Upon clicking on Test Configuration, below popup window will appear.
- Enter any valid email address in the text box given.
- Click on the Verify button.
- A verification email would be sent to the test email ID mentioning “Your email verification is successful.” Also, a verification message will pop up on the screen.
Please Note: In case of a wrong email ID or incomplete email ID, an error message will be displayed.
- Click on the Save 💾 icon.
For Post Method:
- Select the Gateway vendor from the predefined list.
- Please provide the necessary information in the fields that will be displayed after selecting the vendor. You should acquire these details from your service provider.
Please Note: Currently, we have integrated "Twilio" as our primary Gateway vendor; however, if you want to use any other gateway, we are open to incorporating it into our platform; contact us for further details.
- To enable Email Verification, check the provided checkbox. This feature ensures that the system sends a verification email to the recipient. Only after the recipient confirms their email address will the system be authorized to send additional emails.
- Click on the Test configuration button to test if the configuration is working.
- Upon clicking on Test Configuration, the below popup window will appear.
