Set Device Time Zone
Setting the correct device timezone is important to prevent any inconsistencies in the analytics. Discrepancies can occur if there is a mismatch between the actual time recorded in the device's data packets and the time those packets are logged by the system.
Before You Get Started
It is essential to configure the time zone on your GPS device to align with your vehicle's location. Additionally, ensure that the same time zone is configured in the platform.
To Get Started
- Log in to your account.
- Go to Settings > General > Object.
- Double-click on the record for which you want to set the device time zone.
- In the General tab, navigate to the Device Timezone field.
- Enter the time zone same as the one set on the device.
- Click on the Save 💾 icon.
