Configure ChatBot service for reseller account

A ChatBot is a digital assistant that is used to initiate online chat conversations. Chatbots are used to answer questions, and escalate problems, to human agents when necessary.

Before Getting Started

    • Find a 3rd party Chatbot service that provides you with an option to use a javascript snippet.
    • Create a Bot as per your requirements.
    • Connect a chat channel to the conversation inbox.

(A chat channel is where you can customize your team's availability.)

To Setup ChatBot

  • Login to your account.
  • Go to  Settings > General > Reseller.
  • Double-click on the account for which you want to configure ChatBot.
  • Navigate to the ChatBot tab.

    There are two options Custom and Inherit.
  • If you wish to inherit the Chatbot from the admin account then click on Inherit.
  • If you want to add a new Bot to the system for the reseller then click on Custom
    • Click on the checkbox of ChatBot.
    • In the ChatBot Script field enter the javascript link provided by the bot service provider.

  • Click on the Save 💾 icon.
