Add Address

Addresses can be created to accurately identify specific locations. For instance, if a vehicle regularly travels to an office, users can create an address for that location to receive notifications when the vehicle arrives. This functionality enables users to effectively monitor and track their vehicles with ease.

Uses of Address Feature:

  • Addresses can be used to identify the arrival and departure of the vehicle to particular locations.
  • The users can be notified when vehicles pass by or arrive at a specific location, ensuring real-time updates and efficient monitoring.

To Get Started

Users can easily add addresses one at a time or in bulk using different options on the platform:

To Add Address from Address Screen

  • Log in to your account.
  • Go to Settings > Master > Address.

Upon clicking on Address, you will be directed to the Address Overview page, where you can view and manage all the address records.

To Create Addresses Individually

  • Click on thebutton on the taskbar.
  • The Address configuration screen will open.
    • Select the Reseller and Company from the drop-down list.Frame 655 (7)
    • Provide the Name of the address.
    • Select the Address Type from the dropdown list.
    • Specify the desired Tolerance or the radius around the address location.
    • Provide a Description if necessary.
    • On the Map, search and choose the desired Address location by searching for it. Utilize the marker to pinpoint the exact location accurately.
      • Click on the Save 💾 icon.

    To Create Addresses in Bulk

    • Click on the Upload button on the taskbar.
      • Select the Reseller, Company and Branch from the drop-down menu.
      • Select the Country and State from the drop-down menu.
      • Download the sample file from the given link. Fill in the details of the address, like the address category, place name, latitude, and longitude, in the given format, and then Upload the file by clicking on +.
      • Click on the Save 💾 icon.

      To Add Address from the Live Tracking Screen

      • Log in to your account.
      • Go to the Live Tracking screen.
      • Addresses can be created using two distinct methods from the live tracking screen:
        • Address Tab
        • Map Operational Panel

      Create Address from Address tab

      • Navigate to the Address tab.

        To Create Addresses Individually

        • Click on Add address icon.


          • Select the Reseller and Company from the drop-down list.

          • Enter the Name of the Address.
          • Select the Address Type from the drop-down list.
          • Specify the desired Tolerance of the address.
          • Enter a Description if required.
          • On the Map, search and choose the desired Address location by searching for it. Utilize the marker to pinpoint the exact location accurately.
          • Click on the Save 💾 icon.

      To Create Addresses in Bulk

        • Click on the Upload Addresses icon.
          • Select the Reseller and Company from the drop-down menu.
          • Select the File Format from the drop-down menu.
          • Download the sample file from the given link. Fill in the details of the address, like address category, place name, latitude, and longitude, in the given format, and then Upload the file by clicking on Choose File.
          • Click on the Save 💾 icon.

      Create Address from Map Operational Panel

      • Proceed to the Map Operational Panel, located on the right-hand side of the live tracking screen.

      • Click on Add Address and Geofence Mode to enable the option.
      • To create an address, simply click on the Map at your desired location. A popup will then appear, providing you the option to Add Address.Frame 654 (6)-1
      • Click on Add Address option, and the Address configuration screen will appear.Frame 654 (10)
        • Provide the necessary information, including the Company, Name, Address Type, Tolerance and Description to successfully add the address.
        • Click on the Save 💾 icon to save address.

        To Add Address from Tooltip Widget

        The address for the current location can be conveniently created using the tooltip widget in the live tracking screen.

        • Go to the Live Tracking screen.
        • Navigate to Object tab.

        • Click on the Object from the object list.
        • Proceed to Location tooltip widget located on the right-hand side of the live tracking screen.
        • Click on the Add Address option, and the Address configuration screen will open.

          • Provide the name of the Address.
          • Choose the relevant Address type that best fits your needs.
          • Specify the desired Tolerance of the address.
          • Provide a Description if necessary to clarify the purpose or details of the geofence.
          • Click on the Save 💾 icon to save address.

        To Add Address from the Playback Screen

        Addresses can be conveniently created from the playback screen by selecting a specific stoppage point. This feature is useful for frequently stopped locations, enabling users to quickly add addresses directly from the playback screen.

        • Go to the Live Tracking screen.
        • Navigate to Object tab.

        • Click on the Object from the object list.

        • Select the specific date for which you would like to review the playback.
        • Click on the desired point for which you want to create an address. A popup will appear presenting the option to Add Address.

          • Provide the necessary information, including the Name, Address Type, and Tolerance, to successfully add the address.
          • Click on the Save 💾 icon to save address.

        To Add Address from Reports

        Addresses can be created from reports, allowing users to conveniently add locations where vehicles have previously stopped. If a driver frequently halts at a specific spot, users can easily add that location as an address directly from the reports.

        • Log in to your account.
        • Go to Settings > Reports > Select the report that includes the Map Point feature.Frame 654 (16)
        • Click on the Map point within the report to view the specific location on the map.
        • A popup window will open, displaying the pinpoint on the map for that particular location.

        • Select the Add Address option that appears in the location popup window to open the Address configuration screen.Frame 654 (14)
          • Provide the necessary information, including the Company, Name, Address Type, Tolerance and Description to successfully add the address.
          • Click on the Save 💾 icon to save address.
