Vehicle visibility based on cell phone tower.
You can configure vehicle visibility based on the cell phone tower when the GPS connectivity stops transmitting data for some reason and you lose sight of the vehicle. The vehicle's location will be retrieved by the system from the connected tower range that is closest to it.
To get started
- Login to your account
- Go to Settings > General > Object
- Double-click on the object record for which you want to set the visibility based on a cellular tower.
- Navigate to Profile.
- In the LBS Detection Radius field enter the range you want to cover in meters.
- Click on the Save 💾 icon.
- In the LBS Detection Radius field enter the range you want to cover in meters.
