The Travel Data Summary Report provides an overview of the data received from selected devices during the selected date and time period. It helps users monitor live, historical, and invalid device data, verify the quality of data received, and identify devices with communication or data-transmission issues.
The report also allows users to open an individual object and view the daily travel data, including ignition start and end information, locations, live data, historical data, invalid data, and total data received.

Filters
Use the available filters to generate the report:
Travel Data Summary Report Filters
- Company: Select the required company.
- Date Selection: Select the required date or reporting period.
- Branch: Select the required branch.
- Device Brand: Select the device manufacturer or brand.
- Device Model: Select the required tracking device model.
- Object Selection: Select one or more vehicles/objects to include in the report.
- Search: Use the search box to quickly locate a specific object.
- Object Tree: Displays available companies, branches, and objects in a hierarchical structure.
- Select All: Select all available objects.
- Object Checkbox: Select individual objects.
Click Apply to generate the report.
Additional options:
- Save Filter: Save the selected filter combination for future use.
- Delete Filter: Delete a saved filter.
- XLS: Export the report to Excel.
- PDF: Export the report to PDF.
Report Layers
The Travel Data Summary Report has two layers: Travel Data Summary → Travel Data Detail.
Layer 1 – Travel Data Summary
Provides a consolidated view of device data for each selected object, including device information and the percentage and count of live, historical, and invalid data.
Click the + icon against an object to view its individual daily travel data.
Layer 2 – Travel Data Detail
Shows the daily data details for the selected object, including ignition start and end information, ignition locations, live data, historical data, invalid data, and total data received.
How to Read

Layer 1 – Travel Data Summary
- Check Company and Branch to identify the organizational details.
- Check Object to identify the vehicle or asset.
- Check Device Brand to identify the manufacturer of the tracking device.
- Check Device Model to identify the device model.
- Check SIM Provider to identify the SIM/network provider associated with the device.
- Check Live under Device Data % to see the percentage and count of live data received.
- Check History to see the percentage and count of historical or buffered data received.
- Check Invalid to see the percentage and count of invalid data received.
- Click the + icon to investigate the daily data details for an object.
Layer 2 – Travel Data Detail
- Check Date to identify the date for which the device data is displayed.
- Check First Ignition Start to identify the first ignition start time recorded for the object.
- Check First Ignition Location to identify the location where the first ignition start was recorded.
- Check Last Ignition Off to identify the last ignition-off time recorded for the object.
- Check Last Ignition Location to identify the location associated with the last ignition-off event.
- Check Live to review the percentage and count of live data received.
- Check History to review the percentage and count of historical data received.
- Check Invalid to review the percentage and count of invalid data received.
- Check Total Data % to review the overall percentage and count of data received for the selected period.
Take Action
- Review the Live data percentage to verify whether devices are transmitting current data.
- Check the History percentage when investigating delayed or buffered data transmission.
- Review the Invalid percentage to identify devices transmitting invalid or unusable data.
- Compare data percentages across devices to identify devices with unusual communication patterns.
- Open the detail layer when you need to investigate data for a specific date and object.
- Review First Ignition Start and Last Ignition Off to understand the object's ignition activity during the selected period.
- Check the corresponding ignition locations when investigating vehicle activity.
- Use the Device Brand and Device Model filters to identify data-quality patterns related to specific device types.
Important Notes
- The report contains two layers: Travel Data Summary → Travel Data Detail.
- The report results depend on the selected Company, Branch, Date Selection, Device Brand, Device Model, and Object Selection.
- Live represents data received as current/live device data.
- History represents historical or buffered data received from the device.
- Invalid represents data identified as invalid.
- The values displayed under Device Data % include both the percentage and corresponding data count.
- Total Data % in the detail layer represents the overall data received for the selected object and date.
- First Ignition Start and Last Ignition Off are displayed when corresponding ignition data is available.
- Ignition location information is displayed based on the location data associated with the respective ignition event.
- The report can be exported in XLS and PDF formats.
