Share Location History Report
The Share Location History Report provides a record of location history shared for selected vehicles/objects. It helps users track when location history was shared, the recipient details, sharing validity, sharing method, and whether the history was shared through SMS, email, or a generated link. The report also allows users to open a specific object and view the individual location-sharing records.

How to Access
Path:Report → Log → Share Location History Report
Filters
Use the available filters to generate the report:

- Company: Select the required company.
- Branch: Select the required branch.
- Date Selection: Select the required date or reporting period.
- Object Selection: Select one or more objects/vehicles.
Click Apply to generate the report.
Additional options:
- Save Filter: Save the selected filter combination for future use.
- Delete Filter: Delete a saved filter.
- XLS: Export the report to Excel.
- PDF: Export the report to PDF.
- CSV: Export the report to CSV.
Report Layers
The Share Location History Report has two layers: Share Location History Summary → Share Location History Detail.
Layer 1 – Share Location History Summary
Provides an overall view of location history sharing for each object, including the number of SMS, email, and generated-link shares.

Click the + icon against an object to view its individual sharing records.
Layer 2 – Share Location History Detail
Shows the individual location-sharing records for the selected object, including the sharing date and time, recipient information, validity, sharing method, and who shared the location history.
Use the back arrow to return to the Share Location History Summary.
How to Read
Read the report from overall sharing activity → individual sharing record.
Layer 1 – Share Location History Summary
- Check Company and Branch to identify the organizational details.
- Check Object to identify the vehicle/object whose location history was shared.
- Check SMS to see the number of location-history shares made through SMS.
- Check Email to see the number of shares made through email.
- Check Generate Link to see the number of generated location-sharing links.
- Click the + icon to investigate the individual sharing records.
Layer 2 – Share Location History Detail
- Check DateTime to identify when the location history was shared.
- Check Mobile Number and Email to identify the recipient details, where available.
- Check Validity to understand how long the shared location history remains valid.
- Check Schedule to review any configured sharing schedule.
- Check SMS and Email to identify whether those sharing methods were used.
- Check Generate Link to determine whether a location-sharing link was generated.
- Check Shared Via to identify the sharing channel, such as Web.
- Check Shared By to identify the user/account that shared the location history.
Take Action
- Review objects with frequent location-history sharing.
- Open the detail layer to verify individual sharing records.
- Check Validity when confirming whether a shared location history is still available.
- Review Shared Via and Shared By when investigating how or by whom location history was shared.
- Verify recipient information when tracking a specific sharing activity.
Important Notes
- The report contains two layers: Share Location History Summary → Share Location History Detail.
- The report results depend on the selected Company, Branch, Date Selection, and Object Selection.
- Recipient information may not be available for every sharing record.
- Generate Link indicates location history shared through a generated link.
- The Validity value indicates the configured validity period of the shared location history.
- The report can be exported in XLS, PDF, and CSV formats.
