Driver Alert

The Driver Alert Report helps fleet managers monitor and analyze alerts generated against drivers during a selected period. It provides a driver-wise summary of alert types, severity, alert duration, and number of alerts, making it easier to identify drivers with repeated or significant alert occurrences.

The report also allows users to drill down into individual alert events to understand when and where the alert was generated, which vehicle was involved, what information was associated with the alert, and whether SMS, email, or video was available. This helps users investigate driver-related events, identify recurring behaviour or safety concerns, and take appropriate corrective action.

How to Access

• Report-->Alert-->Driver Alert

Filters

Use the available filters to generate the report:

• Company: Select the required company.
• Branch: Select the required branch.
• Alert Type: Select the required alert type.
• Severity: Select the required alert severity.
• Date Selection: Select the required date or reporting period.
• Time Range: Enable this option to apply a specific time range.
• Driver Selection: Select the required drivers from the available company and branch hierarchy.

Click Apply to generate the report.

Additional options:

• Save Filter: Save the selected filter combination for future use.
• Delete Filter: Delete the saved filter.
• XLS: Export the report to Excel.
• PDF: Export the report to PDF.
• CSV: Export the report to CSV.

Report Layers

The Driver Alert Report has two layers:

Layer 1 – Driver Alert Summary

Provides a driver-wise summary of alerts, including the company, branch, driver, employee number, contact number, alert type, severity, alert duration, and number of alerts.

Click the + icon against a record to view the individual alert events.

Layer 2 – Driver Alert Detail

Shows the individual alert events for the selected driver, including the alert generation time, alert location, object, alert information, alert duration, SMS status, email status, and video availability.

Use the back arrow to return to the Driver Alert Summary.

How to Read

Read the report from overall driver alert summary → individual alert events.

Layer 1 – Driver Alert Summary

• Check Driver to identify the driver associated with the alert.
• Check Alert Type to understand what type of alert was generated.
• Check Severity to determine the seriousness of the alert.
• Check Alert Duration to understand how long the alert remained active.
• Check No of Alerts to identify drivers with repeated alert occurrences.
• Click the + icon to investigate individual alert events.

Layer 2 – Driver Alert Detail

• Check Alert Generation Time to identify when the alert occurred.
• Check Alert Location to identify where the alert was generated.
• Check Object to identify the vehicle associated with the event.
• Review Alert Info for additional information about the alert.
• Check Alert Duration for the duration of the individual event.
• Review SMS and Email to check the notification status.
• Use Play Video when video is available for the alert.

Example:
If a driver has a high No of Alerts in the summary, open the detail layer to identify the specific alert events, their locations, the associated vehicle, and the time at which they occurred.

Take Action

• Review drivers with a high number of alerts.
• Investigate repeated alerts of the same type.
• Prioritize alerts with higher severity.
• Review alert locations for recurring risk areas.
• Check individual alert details to understand the event.
• Review available video evidence when required.
• Provide driver coaching or take corrective action for recurring safety concerns.
