How to Use Forms in Jobs

The Form feature allows users to create customized forms and associate them with checkpoints in a job.

When a driver reaches a mapped checkpoint and performs the delivery activity through the Driver App, the driver is required to fill in and submit the associated form.

Once submitted, the manager can view the collected information in the Job Reports.

To use this functionality, the required Form screen access rights must be enabled for the Admin user. Access can also be provided to Admin sub-users.

Symptoms / How to Identify

  • The Form option is not visible to the Admin user.
  • Users are unable to create forms for jobs.
  • A form is not associated with the required job checkpoint.
  • Drivers are unable to access the form during job execution.
  • Managers need to review the information submitted by drivers.

Information Required Before Troubleshooting

  • Admin or Admin sub-user account details.
  • Confirmation that Form screen access rights are enabled.
  • Job details and checkpoint information.
  • Form configuration details.
  • Driver App details, if the form is not appearing during job execution.

Troubleshooting Steps

Step 1: Enable Form Screen Access

Ensure that the Form screen access rights are enabled for the Admin user.

If Admin sub-users also need to access the Form screen, provide the required screen rights to those users.

Step 2: Create the Required Form

Log in using the Admin account and navigate to the Form screen.

Create and save the form with the required fields.

Step 3: Create a Job

Navigate to the Job Module and start creating the required job.

Under the Consider Via option, select QR Code.

Step 4: Add Checkpoints and Map the Form

While adding checkpoints to the job, associate the previously created form with the respective checkpoint.

Ensure that the correct form is mapped to each required checkpoint.

Step 5: Save the Job

After configuring the checkpoints and mapping the forms, save the job.

Step 6: Complete the Job Through the Driver App

The driver can log in to the Driver App and start the assigned job.

At the time of delivery, the driver will be required to fill in and submit the form associated with the respective checkpoint.

Step 7: View Submitted Form Details

After the driver submits the form, the manager can access the submitted information through the Job Reports.

Possible Cause

Forms may not be available during job creation or execution due to:

  • Form screen access rights not being enabled for the Admin user.
  • Required permissions not being provided to Admin sub-users.
  • The form not being created before job configuration.
  • The form not being mapped to the respective checkpoint.
  • The job not being configured with QR Code under the Consider Via option.
