Underweight Alert
The Underweight alert is used to notify users when a vehicle is identified as carrying a load below the expected or configured weight requirement. This alert helps fleet operators monitor vehicle loading conditions, identify insufficient loads, and ensure that vehicles are being utilized according to operational requirements.
Parameters Considered (Prerequisites)
- Weight Monitoring: The selected vehicle must support vehicle weight monitoring through a supported device, sensor, or connected system.
- Underweight Data: The system must receive the relevant underweight event or weight information from the connected device.
- Job/Trip Information: If the alert is configured as On Job, the vehicle must have an applicable job or trip associated with it.
How to Configure

Please Note: To receive alerts through SMS, Email, Social Media API, or IVR, the respective API/gateway must be configured at the Admin, Reseller, or Company level.
Example
A vehicle is assigned a job with a required load, but the connected weighing system detects that the actual load is below the expected weight. An Underweight event is generated. If the alert is configured as On Job, the system evaluates the condition in relation to the active job. The configured alert is triggered and the selected users receive a notification, allowing the fleet operator to review the load and take appropriate action.
