Sublock Rope Remove Alert

The Sublock Rope Remove alert is used to notify users when the rope connected to a Sublock is removed. This alert helps organizations monitor the physical security of vehicles or secured compartments and identify unauthorized or unexpected removal of the Sublock rope. 

Parameters Considered (Prerequisites)

• Sublock: A Sublock must be configured and associated with the selected object for the alert to be triggered.
• Sublock Rope: The Sublock must have a connected rope and the system must receive the corresponding rope removal event.

How to Configure

1. Select the correct Company and Branch for whom the alert is to be configured.
2. Based On: Choose what you want to base the alert configuration on (Object, Object Group, Object Type).
   1. Object: Select individual vehicles/objects for whom you want the alert to generate.
   2. Object Group: Select a group of vehicles/objects for whom you want the alert to generate.
   3. Object Type: Select a vehicle or object type for whom you want the alert to generate.
3. Select the Object based on the previous step selection.
4. Set an Alert Name for identification of the alert.
5. Select the Alert Type as Sublock Rope Remove.
6. In the Text field, enter the message that will be displayed when the Sublock Rope Remove alert is triggered.
7. Select the Valid Day(s) as Everyday or Custom.
   1. Everyday: The alert will be triggered every day when a Sublock rope removal event is detected.
   2. Custom: Select the specific days on which you want this alert to be triggered.
8. Enter the Valid Time From and To. The alert will be generated only within the selected time range.
9. Select the required Timezone.
10. Select the Severity of the alert (Low, Medium, or High).
11. Under Action, select the medium through which the alert or notification should be sent (SMS, Email, Notification, Social Media API, or IVR).
    1. SMS: To receive the alert by SMS, enable the checkbox and enter the required phone numbers.
    2. Email: To receive the alert by email, enable the checkbox and enter the email recipients.
    3. Notification: To receive the alert as a system push notification, enable the checkbox and select the users who should receive it.
    4. Social Media API: To receive the alert through WhatsApp or Telegram, enable the checkbox and configure the required gateway and recipient details.
    5. IVR: To receive the alert through an automated voice call, enable the checkbox and enter the required phone numbers.
12. Click the Save 💾 icon to save the alert configuration.

Example

A vehicle is secured using a Sublock with a connected rope. If the rope is removed from the Sublock, the system detects the rope removal event and triggers the Sublock Rope Remove alert. The configured users receive a notification, allowing the fleet operator to immediately investigate the potential security violation.
