A Location Alert is configured to send the vehicle’s location update every day at a specific time, such as at the start or end of a shift. For instance, a fleet manager sets a location alert at 01:00 AM for all vehicles to confirm their overnight parking locations. Alternatively, the alert can be configured to send updates every few hours throughout the day to track the vehicle’s movement at regular intervals.

  • Scheduled Time: The time at which you want the location alert to be generated.

Multiple: You want multiple location of the vehicle (alert) which are repeated at different time intervals.

  • Repeat Every: The time interval at which the location should be sent (alert).
  • Schedule Start Time: When do you want the

Action

The selected alert action determines how notifications are delivered:

  • SMS: Must be configured under Admin, Reseller, or Company setup. Contact numbers can be added to receive instant SMS notifications containing the vehicle’s location.
  • Email: Add email recipients to receive detailed location updates through email.
  • In-App Notification: Choose a notification sound and specify users who should receive location notifications within the platform.
