Driver Licence Object Type Mismatch

 The Driver Licence Object Type Mismatch alert notifies users when a driver is assigned to an object whose required licence type does not match the driver's licence type. This helps ensure that drivers are assigned only to vehicles they are legally authorized to operate. 

Parameters Considered (Prerequisites)

    • Driver: A driver must be configured with a valid licence and the appropriate License to Drive information.
    • Object:  The object must have an Object Type configured. The Object Type can be configured from the Profile section while adding or editing the object. 
    • Driver-Object Association:  The vehicle must be associated with the appropriate License Type required to operate the vehicle.

    Please Note: Ensure that the driver's licence information and the object's type are correctly configured before creating this alert.

    How to Configure
    1. Select the appropriate Company and Branch for which the alert is to be configured.
    2. Based On: Select the level at which the alert should be configured:
      • Object: Select individual objects for which the alert should be generated.
      • Object Group: Select an object group for which the alert should be generated.
      • Object Type: Select an object type for which the alert should be generated.
    3. Select the required Object, Object Group, or Object Type based on the selection made in the previous step.
    4. Enter an Alert Name to identify the alert.
    5. Select Driver Licence Object Type Mismatch from the Alert Type dropdown.
    6. The Text field is populated with the alert message. Modify the message if required.
    7. Select the Valid Day(s) as Everyday or Custom.
      1. Everyday: The alert will be triggered every day when the configured temperature condition is met.
      2. Custom: Select the specific days on which you want the alert to be triggered.
    8. Specify the Valid Time From and To to define the time period during which the alert should be active.
    9. Select the required Timezone. The alert schedule will be evaluated according to the selected timezone.
    10. Select the Severity of the alert (Low, Medium, or High).
    11. Under Action, select the medium through which the alert or notification should be sent (SMS, Email, Notification, Social Media API, or IVR).
      1. SMS: To receive the alert by SMS, enable the checkbox and enter the required phone numbers.
      2. Email: To receive the alert by email, enable the checkbox and enter the email recipients.
      3. Notification: To receive the alert as a system push notification, enable the checkbox and select the users who should receive it. Configure the Notification Sound if available.
      4. Social Media API: To receive the alert through WhatsApp or Telegram, enable the checkbox and configure the required gateway and recipient details.
      5. IVR: To receive the alert through an automated voice call, enable the checkbox and enter the required phone numbers.
    12. Click the Save 💾 icon to save the alert configuration.

    Please Note: To receive alerts through SMS, Email, Social Media API, or IVR, the respective API/gateway must be configured at the Admin, Reseller, or Company level.

    Example

    Suppose an Object Type named Truck is mapped to the Heavy Vehicle licence type, while the driver's licence is configured as Light Vehicle.

    When the driver with a Light Vehicle licence is associated with the Truck, the system identifies that the driver's licence type does not match the licence type required for the object. The Driver Licence Object Type Mismatch alert is then triggered.
