The Camera Error Code alert is triggered when the ADAS or video streaming device detects a malfunction, disconnection, or error in one or more cameras installed in the vehicle. This alert helps identify issues such as camera hardware failure, signal loss, misalignment, or configuration errors, ensuring that critical safety systems relying on visual data (like BSD, LDW, or FCW) remain fully operational.

How to Configure
- Select the relevant Company and Branch.
- From the Alert Type dropdown, choose Camera Error Code.
- Enter an Alert Name as per your preference.
- Based On: Object, Object Group, or Object Type.
- Enter a descriptive Text message (e.g., “Camera malfunction detected – Check ADAS feed”).
- Configure Valid Days — choose Everyday or Custom, and specify the days if custom.
- Set Valid Time From / To to define when the alert should be active.
- Select the appropriate TimeZone.
- Set the Severity Level (Low, Medium, or High) based on the impact of the malfunction.
- Choose preferred notification methods — SMS, Email, or In-App Notification.
- Click Save to activate the alert configuration.
Use Case
A Camera Error Code alert is triggered when an ADAS or video streaming device identifies an error such as camera disconnection, feed loss, or internal malfunction. Notifications are sent to the driver and fleet manager via SMS, Email, or In-App Notification, prompting immediate inspection or maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operation of safety features like Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and Forward Collision Warning.
When Based On: Object, Object Group, or Object Type
- Object: Select individual vehicles equipped with ADAS cameras for which the alert should apply.
- Object Group: Select a group of ADAS-enabled vehicles; all vehicles in the group appear for further selection.
- Object Type: Select vehicle types equipped with ADAS cameras; all vehicles under that type will be available for selection.
