Manual Trip Creation

The Manual Trip Creation method allows administrators to create trips from scratch by defining routes, stops, and sequence manually on the map interface.

To Get Started

  • Log in to your account.

  • Go to Settings > Master > Create Trip.

  • Click on the ➕ icon available on the bottom panel of the screen

Create a Trip Manually

  • Create a trip manually using the below steps:

1. Find Travel Screen

    • Trip Creation - Manual
    • Select Branch – Choose the relevant school branch.
    • Enter Trip Name – Give the trip a clear, descriptive name.
    • Select Trip Type – Choose:
      • Pickup Trip (Home → School)
      • Drop Trip (School → Home)
    • Create Trip Without Path (Optional) – Allows trip creation without a defined route.

Note: You need to Create a Seperate trip for Pickup and Drop Type trip

2. Plan Your Order Screen

    • Assign Start and End Points – Define where the trip starts and ends.
    • Add Checkpoints – Add stops manually or upload via Excel.
    • Enable Routing – Generate the best path automatically.
    • Return Point (Optional) – A return point refers to a location to which the vehicle comes back after traveling or moving away. Mark if the bus should visit a specific point in return or in second visit.

    3. Allocate Student Screen

    Allocate students to checkpoints using one of the following:

    • Parent App Allocation – Parents choose their child’s stop through the app.
    • Manual Allocation

      • Individual—Add one student at a time.

      • Bulk – Assign multiple students to stops at once using a predefined excel template.

    Note: If using the Parent App option, notify parents to complete checkpoint selection.

    4. Set Schedule Screen

    • Set Schedule—Choose a slot (Morning/Afternoon) 
    • Trip Start Buffer Time: Define how early monitoring starts before the scheduled trip (default: 15 mins).
    • Assign Vehicle – Select the bus or transporter vehicle.
    • Schedule Type & Validity

      • Temporary Schedule – For one-time trips.

      • Permanent Schedule – For recurring trips (e.g., the entire academic year).

    • Set Start & End Time – Define operating hours; Trip's start and end time.

    • Estimated Reach Time (Optional) – Add expected arrival times for checkpoints.

    • Add Additional Schedule (Optional) – Add more schedules as needed.
