[Object Group](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/smartbus?hsLang=en#object-group) # Add Object Group Object Group is a collection of related objects that are clubbed together to form a group in order to manage collectively. An object group allows the users to organize their objects into groups based on their type, location, or any other criteria that they would like to define as per their preferences and requirements. For example, users can create an object group of all the objects at a particular school; or they can create an object group that consists of all the objects; or they can create an object group that has all the vehicles of the same type. Object group helps users to manage and monitor their assets more efficiently by providing them with a combined view of their status. Object groups can be used on the live tracking screen for filters, while creating a school subuser and while creating alerts. ### **To get started** - Login to your account. - Go to  **Settings \> Master \> Object Group.** The page you land on is the Object Group overview page where you can have a look at all your object group records. #### **To add object group** - Click on the **➕** button on the taskbar. ![](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/hs-fs/hubfs/og-%201-png.png?width=199&height=76&name=og-%201-png.png) - Select the **School** from the dropdown list. - Enter the **Group Name** of the object group. - - Select **Copy From** if you want to Copy From already existing object groups. ![](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/hs-fs/hubfs/og-3-png.png?width=350&height=234&name=og-3-png.png) - Enter the **Description** of the object group. - Select **Objects** to add in the object group. - Click on the **Save 💾 icon**. #### **To upload multiple records** - Click on the upload button on the taskbar. The file will hold the object information for creating the Object Group.
