# Add Beacon

Users can easily add beacons to the system, either individually or in bulk. For bulk addition, you can upload beacon details using a pre-formatted Excel file, which you'll download, fill in with the necessary information, and then upload back to the system. Follow the steps provided for both single and bulk beacon additions.

#### To get started

- Login to your account.
- Go to  **Settings \> General \> Beacon.**

#### To upload records individually

- Click on the ➕ button on the taskbar.

    - Select the **Reseller** from the dropdown list.
    - Select the **School** from the dropdown list.
    - Select the **Branch** from the dropdown list.
    - Enter the **UUID** as asked.
    - Enter the **Beacon Name** as asked.

- - Save the details by clicking on the **Save 💾 Icon.**

#### To upload multiple records

- Click on the Upload button on the taskbar.

- Select the **Reseller** from the dropdown list.
- Select the **School** from the dropdown list.
- Select the **Branch** from the dropdown list.

- **Download the sample file** from the link given. The file will hold the basic information about the beacon.

- **Upload** the XLS file with after filling up the details.
- Click on the **save 💾 icon.**
