Add Beacon

A beacon is a small wireless device that uses Bluetooth or similar technologies to transmit signals detected by nearby devices. It helps determine location, track assets, or trigger actions such as sending notifications, commonly used in retail, logistics, and transportation to improve operations and user experiences.

The system enables you to register beacons on the platform, allowing them to connect automatically with any devices that come within their range. Once connected, the system displays the beacon's association with the device, enabling seamless tracking and monitoring of the beacon's location.

Users can easily add beacons to the system, either individually or in bulk.

To Get Started

Login to your account.
Go to Settings > General > Beacon.

Upon clicking on the Beacon, you will be directed to the Beacon Overview page, where you can easily view and manage all beacon records.

To Add Beacons Individually

Click on the ➕ button on the taskbar.
- Reseller: Choose the appropriate reseller from the dropdown list.
- Company: Pick the corresponding company from the dropdown list.
- Branch: Select the relevant branch from the dropdown list.
- UUID: Input the UUID of the beacon.
- Beacon Name: Provide an informative name for the beacon to facilitate easy identification.

To Upload Beacons in Bulk

Click on the Upload button on the taskbar.
- Reseller: Choose the appropriate reseller from the dropdown list.
- Company: Pick the corresponding company from the dropdown list.
- Branch: Select the relevant branch from the dropdown list.
- Download the sample file from the link given. The file will hold the basic information about the beacon.
- Upload the XLS file after filling up the details.
- Click on the Save 💾 icon.
