Subscription

The Subscription enables inventory-based subscription management for GPS devices. It is designed for Inventory-Enabled Admins and integrates seamlessly with the existing Tariff Module. Instead of relying solely on tariff-based expiry dates, the system allows subscriptions to be assigned to devices during inventory upload or activation.

If a device is uploaded with a predefined subscription duration, the subscription is automatically applied during activation. If no subscription is defined, the system grants a configurable Grace Period set by the reseller. This ensures uninterrupted device activation while providing flexibility in subscription management.

How it works?

• The Subscription module becomes available only when the Subscription option is enabled for an Inventory-Enabled Admin. 
•  Each reseller can define: 
  
  
  • Select the Reseller Subuser from drop down. 
  • They can copy from a previous created subscription. 
  • Enter the name of the Subscription
  • Select the device type from drop down. 
  • Mention the duration in months
  • Select the Payment Gateway from drop down. 
  • Select the Currency. 
  • Mention the Amount and Tax applied. 
  • Enter description for the subscription(optional)
• During inventory upload, administrators can optionally specify the Subscription Duration for each IMEI. 
  

•  When the device is activated: 
  • Devices with predefined subscriptions receive the assigned subscription automatically. 
  • Devices without subscriptions receive the reseller-configured grace period 
  • The subscription expiry date is generated and displayed to the user.
