System Log
The System Log Report provides a detailed record of data packets received from tracking devices during the selected date and time range. It helps users monitor device communication, verify whether data is being received correctly, analyze the information transmitted by the device, and identify communication or configuration issues.
The report provides both a summary view for quickly checking the latest device communication information and a detailed view for examining individual data packets. Users can compare the Data Actual Time recorded by the device with the Data Received Time recorded by the server to identify communication delays, historical data transmission, or other connectivity-related issues.
This report is available in Trakzee Lite, Trakzee Standard, Trakzee Premium, and Smart Waste Management.
Benefits
- Monitor device communication and data transmission.
- Verify whether device data is being received correctly by the server.
- Identify communication, connectivity, and device configuration issues.
- Compare device-generated time with server-received time.
- Analyze device parameters such as ignition, power, GPS, speed, and odometer.
- Identify invalid, delayed, or historical data packets.
- Review detailed packet information for troubleshooting device-related issues.
- Check device communication status and error conditions.
Before You Get Started
Make sure the required devices are properly configured and actively transmitting data to the platform. The report displays data received from the selected devices during the specified reporting period.
Note: If a device is offline, incorrectly configured, blocked, or has not transmitted data during the selected period, it may not appear in the report or may display incomplete information.

Report Layers
The System Log Report has two layers: System Log Summary → System Log Detail.
Layer 1 – System Log Summary
The System Log Summary provides a consolidated view of the latest data received from the selected devices. It gives users a quick overview of device identification, location, device parameters, timestamps, and communication status. This layer is useful for checking the overall communication health of devices and identifying devices that require further investigation.
Click the Status value to view the complete data packet received from the device.
Layer 2 – System Log Detail
The System Log Detail provides a packet-by-packet view of the data received from the selected device. It allows users to examine individual communication records and compare device-generated data with server-received data.
Use the back arrow to return to the System Log Summary.
