Trip

The Trip Report provides a summary of vehicle trips for the selected date, time range, and objects. It helps users review trip distance, working days, ignition activity, start and end locations, and detailed trip-wise running, idle, stop, and work information.

How to Access

• Report-->Activity-->Trip

Filters

Use the available filters to generate the report:

• Company: Select the required company.
• Date Selection: Select the required date or date range.
• Time Range: Enable the option and specify the start and end time.
• Branch: Select the required branch.
• Vehicle Group: Select the required vehicle group.
• Vehicle Type: Select the required vehicle type.
• Vehicle Brand: Select the required vehicle brand.
• Vehicle Model: Select the required vehicle model.
• Trip Calculation for: Select the parameter used for trip calculation, such as Speed.
• Duration Status: Select the required duration status, such as Running.
• Duration: Select the duration condition and enter the required duration value.
• Distance: Select the distance condition and enter the required distance value.
• Object Selection: Search and select the required objects from the available hierarchy.

Additional options include Update Filter, Delete Filter, Apply, XLS, PDF, and CSV.

Report Layers

The Trip Report has two layers: Trip Summary → Trip Detail.

Layer 1 – Trip Summary

Provides an overall summary of trips for the selected objects and period.

Key information includes Company, Object, Distance, Working Days, First Ignition ON Time, First Ignition ON Location, Last Ignition OFF Time, and Last Ignition OFF Location.

Click the + icon against an object to view its trip details.

Layer 2 – Trip Detail

Provides individual trip records for the selected object.

Key information includes Start Time, Start Location, Start Odometer, Start Coordinate, End Time, End Location, End Odometer, End Coordinate, Driver, Employee No, Distance, Total Distance, Running V/S Stop, Running, Idle, Work, Inactive, Stop, Speed AVG, Speed MAX, Cost based on Distance/Duration, Overspeed, Immobilization, Alerts, Approx Toll Cost, and Show Path.

Use Show Path to view the travel path for the selected trip.

Use the back arrow to return to the Trip Summary.

How to Read

Read the report from overall trip summary → individual trip details.

Layer 1 – Trip Summary

• Review the total distance and working days for each object.
• Check the first ignition ON time and location.
• Check the last ignition OFF time and location.
• Expand an object to investigate individual trips.

Layer 2 – Trip Detail

• Review each trip's start and end information.
• Compare running, idle, work, inactive, and stop durations.
• Check trip distance, total distance, and speed.
• Review overspeed and alert information.
• Use Show Path to view the trip route.

Take Action

• Apply filters based on date, time, vehicle details, duration, distance, and objects.
• Expand an Object to view its individual trips.
• Use Show Path to review the route of a specific trip.
• Review overspeed and alerts to identify trips requiring attention.
• Export the report in XLS, PDF, or CSV format.
