SMS - Email Summary Report

The SMS - Email Summary Report helps users monitor the number of SMS and email notifications sent for alerts generated for vehicles during the selected period. It provides an object-wise summary of notification activity along with the vehicle's company, branch, brand, and model details.

The report also allows users to drill down into a specific object to view the individual alert notifications, including the alert type, alert generation time, SMS status, total SMS sent, and email status. This helps users verify notification activity and investigate whether alerts were communicated through the configured channels.

How to Access

• Report-->Alert-->SMS-Email Summary

Filters

Use the available filters to generate the report:

• Company: Select the required company.
• Branch: Select the required branch.
• Vehicle Group: Select the required vehicle group.
• Vehicle Type: Select the required vehicle type.
• Vehicle Brand: Select the required vehicle brand.
• Vehicle Model: Select the required vehicle model.
• Date Selection: Select the required date or reporting period.
• Object Selection: Select one or more objects/vehicles from the available company and branch hierarchy.

Click Apply to generate the report.

Additional options:

• Save Filter: Save the selected filter combination for future use.
• Delete Filter: Delete the saved filter.
• XLS: Export the report to Excel.
• PDF: Export the report to PDF.
• CSV: Export the report to CSV.

Report Layers

The SMS - Email Summary Report has two layers:

Layer 1 – SMS - Email Summary

Provides an object-wise summary of notification activity, including the company, branch, vehicle brand, vehicle model, object, total SMS sent, and total email sent.

Click the + icon against an object to view its individual notification records.

Layer 2 – SMS - Email Detail

Shows the individual alert notification records for the selected object, including the alert type, alert generation time, SMS status, total SMS sent, and email status.

Use the back arrow to return to the SMS - Email Summary.

How to Read

Read the report from overall notification summary → individual alert notification records.

Layer 1 – SMS - Email Summary

• Check Company and Branch to identify the object ownership/location.
• Check Vehicle Brand and Vehicle Model to identify the vehicle details.
• Check Object to identify the vehicle or tracked object.
• Check Sent SMS to see the total number of SMS notifications sent.
• Check Sent Email to see the total number of email notifications sent.
• Click the + icon to investigate individual notification records.

Layer 2 – SMS - Email Detail

• Check Alert Type to identify the alert associated with the notification.
• Check Alert Generation Time to identify when the alert was generated.
• Check SMS to review the SMS notification status.
• Check Total SMS Send to view the number of SMS messages sent for the alert.
• Check Email to review the email notification status.

Example:
If an object shows a high Sent Email count in the summary, open the detail layer to identify which alerts generated the emails and when those alerts occurred, along with the SMS and email notification status.

Take Action

• Review objects with a high number of SMS or email notifications.
• Investigate frequent alert notifications for specific objects.
• Check individual alert records when notification activity needs to be verified.
• Review SMS and email status to identify notification delivery activity.
• Use the report to monitor and validate alert communication across the fleet.
