Object Mode

The Object Mode Report provides a detailed view of the different operational modes or statuses assigned to selected vehicles/objects during the selected date and time range. It helps users monitor how long an object remained in each mode, identify changes between different modes, and review the duration of operational, repair, accident, breakdown, occupied, or out-of-service states.

The report provides both a consolidated summary and a detailed view of mode changes. This makes it useful for understanding the operational condition of vehicles/assets, monitoring their availability, identifying time spent in non-operational modes, and analyzing mode history for a specific object.

How to Access

  • Report-->Mode-->Object Mode Summary

Filters

Use the available filters to generate the report:

Object Mode Report Filters

  • Company: Select the required company.
  • Branch: Select the required branch within the selected company.
  • Date Selection: Select the required date or reporting period.
  • Vehicle Group: Select a predefined vehicle group to limit the report to specific vehicles.
  • Object Selection: Select one or more vehicles/objects whose mode history should be included in the report.

Click Apply to generate the report.

Additional options:

  • Save Filter: Save the selected filter combination for future use.
  • Delete Filter: Delete a saved filter configuration.
  • XLS: Export the report to Excel.
  • PDF: Export the report to PDF.
  • CSV: Export the report to CSV.

Report Layers

The Object Mode Report has two layers: Object Mode Summary → Object Mode Detail.

Layer 1 – Object Mode Summary

Provides a consolidated view of the modes recorded for each selected object. It displays the object information along with the count and total duration for different modes, such as Good to Go, Accident, Breakdown, In Repair, Occupied, and Out of Service.

Click the + icon against an object to view its individual mode records.

Layer 2 – Object Mode Detail

Shows the individual mode records for the selected object, including the mode, subtype, start timestamp, end timestamp, and duration for each mode occurrence.

Use the back arrow to return to the Object Mode Summary.

How to Read

Read the report from overall mode summary → individual mode record.

Layer 1 – Object Mode Summary

  • Check Company to identify the company associated with the object.
  • Check Branch to identify the branch under which the object is registered.
  • Check Object to identify the vehicle or asset.
  • Check IMEI No to identify the tracking device associated with the object.
  • Check Good to Go Count to see how many times the object was recorded in the Good to Go mode.
  • Check Good to Go Duration to see the total time the object remained in Good to Go mode.
  • Check Accident Count to identify the number of accident-mode occurrences.
  • Check Accident Duration to see the total time recorded in Accident mode.
  • Check Breakdown Count to identify the number of breakdown occurrences.
  • Check Breakdown Duration to see the total time recorded in Breakdown mode.
  • Check In Repair Count to identify how many times the object entered In Repair mode.
  • Check In Repair Duration to see the total time spent in repair.
  • Check Occupied Count to identify the number of times the object was recorded as occupied.
  • Check Occupied Duration to see the total time recorded in Occupied mode.
  • Check Out of Service Count to identify the number of times the object was marked Out of Service.
  • Check Out of Service Duration to see the total time the object remained out of service.
  • Click the + icon to investigate the individual mode records.

Layer 2 – Object Mode Detail

  • Check Mode to identify the mode assigned to the object during the recorded period.
  • Check Subtype to identify the subtype associated with the mode, where available.
  • Check Start Timestamp to identify when the mode started.
  • Check End Timestamp to identify when the mode ended.
  • Check Duration to determine how long the object remained in that mode.

Take Action

  • Review Good to Go Duration to understand the object's available/operational time.
  • Check Accident Count and Accident Duration to investigate accident-related periods.
  • Review Breakdown Count and Breakdown Duration to identify vehicles with recurring breakdowns.
  • Check In Repair Count and In Repair Duration to monitor time spent under maintenance or repair.
  • Review Occupied Count and Occupied Duration when monitoring asset utilization.
  • Check Out of Service Count and Out of Service Duration to identify unavailable vehicles/assets.
  • Click the + icon to investigate the exact start and end time of a mode.
  • Use the detailed layer to analyze mode transitions and understand the operational history of a specific object.

Important Notes

  • The report contains two layers: Object Mode Summary → Object Mode Detail.
  • The report results depend on the selected Company, Branch, Date Selection, Vehicle Group, and Object Selection.
  • The Count columns indicate the number of occurrences of the respective mode.
  • The Duration columns indicate the total time accumulated in the respective mode.
  • The detailed layer provides the start timestamp, end timestamp, and duration for each mode occurrence.
  • Good to Go represents the operational/available mode displayed by the system.
  • Modes such as Accident, Breakdown, In Repair, Occupied, and Out of Service provide visibility into different operational conditions of the object.
  • The report can be exported in XLS, PDF, and CSV formats.
