Inactive Summary Report

The Inactive Summary Report helps you identify vehicles that have remained inactive during the selected period.

It provides a summary of how frequently and for how long each vehicle was inactive, and allows you to open a vehicle to investigate the individual inactive events and their locations.

How to Access

• Report-->Activity-->Inactive 

Filters

Use the available filters to generate the report:

• Company: Select the required company.
• Branch: Select the required branch.
• Vehicle Group: Select the required vehicle group.
• Vehicle Type: Select the required vehicle type.
• Date Selection: Select the required date or reporting period.
• Time Range: Enable this option to check inactivity within a specific time period.
• Object Selection: Select one or more vehicles/objects.

Click Apply to generate the report.

Additional options:

• Save Filter: Save the selected filter combination for future use.
• Delete Filter: Delete the saved filter.
• XLS: Export the report to Excel.
• PDF: Export the report to PDF.
• CSV: Export the report to CSV.

Report Layers

The Inactive Report has two layers:

Layer 1 – Inactive Summary

Provides an overall view of inactivity for each vehicle, including:

• No. of Times Inactive: Number of inactive events recorded.
• Inactive: Total inactive duration.
• Inactive Days: Number of days on which inactivity was recorded.

Click the + icon against a vehicle to view its detailed inactivity records.

Layer 2 – Inactive Detail

Shows the individual inactive events for the selected vehicle, including:

• Idle/Inactivity Order: Sequence of the inactive event.
• Inactive Time: When the vehicle became inactive.
• Inactive Location: Location where the inactivity started.
• Active Time: When activity resumed, where available.
• Active Location: Location where activity resumed, where available.
• Inactive Duration: Duration of the individual inactive event.
• Map: View the recorded location on the map.

Use the back arrow to return to the Inactive Summary.

How to Read

Read the report from overall inactivity → individual inactive events.

Layer 1 – Inactive Summary

• Check No. of Times Inactive to understand how frequently the vehicle became inactive.
• Check Inactive to understand the total duration of inactivity.
• Check Inactive Days to identify how many days the vehicle experienced inactivity.
• Compare vehicles to identify those with higher inactivity.

Layer 2 – Inactive Detail

• Open the vehicle using the + icon.
• Check Inactive Time and Location to understand when and where the inactivity started.
• Check Active Time and Location to understand when and where activity resumed.
• Review Inactive Duration to identify prolonged inactive periods.
• Use the Map option when the exact location needs to be reviewed.

Example:
If a vehicle shows a high Inactive Duration in the summary, open its details to identify when and where it became inactive. This can help the operations team determine whether the inactivity was expected or requires investigation.

Take Action

• Review vehicles with high total inactive duration.
• Investigate vehicles with frequent inactive events.
• Check locations associated with prolonged inactivity.
• Compare inactivity across vehicles and reporting periods.
• Take corrective action where inactivity is affecting vehicle availability or operations.
