Geofence
The Geofence History Report provides a historical view of vehicles entering and exiting configured geofences during the selected period. It helps users track which objects visited a geofence, how many times they entered it, the associated driver, and the type and name of the geofence.
The report also allows users to open the detailed entry and exit records for a specific object and geofence.

How to Access
- Report-->Geofence-Address-->Geofence
Filters
Use the available filters to generate the report:
- Company: Select the required company.
- Date Selection: Select the required date or date range.
- Time Range: Enable this option to specify a particular time range, if required.
- Branch: Select the required branch.
- Geofence Group: Select the required geofence group.
- Geofence Type: Select the required geofence type.
- Geofence: Select the required geofence.
- Object / Driver: Select whether objects or drivers should be used for selection.
- Object Selection: Search and select the required objects from the available hierarchy.
Additional options include Save Filter, Delete Filter, Apply, XLS, PDF, and CSV.
Report Layers
The Geofence History Report has two layers: Geofence History → Area Detail.
Layer 1 – Geofence History
Provides a summary of geofence visits for the selected objects or drivers.
Key information includes:
- Company: Displays the company to which the selected object belongs.
- Branch: Displays the branch associated with the selected object.
- Object: Displays the vehicle or tracked object that visited the geofence.
- Driver: Displays the driver associated with the object during the selected period.
- Employee No: Displays the employee number associated with the driver, where available.
- Geofence Name: Displays the name of the geofence visited by the object.
- Geofence Type: Displays the type or shape of the configured geofence, such as Circle, Rectangle, or Polygon.
- No of Visits: Displays the total number of times the object entered the selected geofence during the selected period.

The No of Visits column indicates the number of recorded visits of the selected object to the respective geofence during the selected period.
Click the + icon against a record to open its detailed geofence visit information.
Layer 2 – Area Detail
Provides detailed information about each entry and exit recorded for the selected object and geofence.
Key information includes:
- Employee No: Displays the employee number associated with the driver or object, where available.
- Fence Entry Time: Displays the date and time when the object entered the selected geofence.
- Entry Position: Displays the location or address where the geofence entry was recorded.
- Duration in Fence: Displays the amount of time the object remained inside the geofence between entry and exit.
- Approx Distance: Displays the approximate distance associated with the recorded geofence visit.
- Fence Exit Time: Displays the date and time when the object exited the selected geofence.
- Exit Position: Displays the location or address where the geofence exit was recorded.

This layer helps users review the exact time and location at which an object entered and exited the selected geofence.
How to Read
Read the report by first reviewing the overall geofence visit summary and then opening the required record to investigate individual visits.
Geofence History
- Check Company and Branch to identify the organizational location.
- Review the Object to identify the vehicle or tracked asset.
- Check the Driver associated with the object.
- Review the Geofence Name to identify the area visited.
- Check the Geofence Type to understand the configured geofence shape or type.
- Review No of Visits to determine how many visits were recorded during the selected period.
- Click the + icon to view the detailed visit records.
Area Detail
- Check Fence Entry Time to identify when the object entered the geofence.
- Review Entry Position to identify the location where the entry was recorded.
- Check Duration in Fence to understand how long the object remained within the geofence.
- Review Approx Distance to understand the approximate distance associated with the visit.
- Check Fence Exit Time to identify when the object exited the geofence.
- Review Exit Position to identify where the exit was recorded.
Take Action
- Review No of Visits to identify objects that frequently visit a particular geofence.
- Open the Area Detail layer to investigate individual visits.
- Compare entry and exit times to understand the duration of each visit.
- Review Entry Position and Exit Position when verifying movement into and out of a geofence.
- Use the filters to focus the report on a specific company, branch, geofence group, geofence type, geofence, object, or driver.
- Export the report in XLS, PDF, or CSV format.
Important Notes
- The report contains two layers: Geofence History → Area Detail.
- No of Visits represents the recorded number of visits for the object and geofence during the selected period.
- Duration in Fence represents the recorded time spent within the geofence.
- Entry Position and Exit Position are based on the location data received from the tracking device.
- The report results depend on the selected date, time range, geofence, object, driver, and other filters.
- Detailed records are available by expanding the required entry using the + icon.
