Fence Outside Travel Report

The Fence Outside Travel Report provides detailed information about vehicle movement outside a selected geofence. It helps users identify when a vehicle exited a geofence, when it entered again, how long it remained outside, the distance travelled during that period, and how the vehicle activity was distributed between running, idle, stop, and inactive time.

The report also provides Fence Exit Odometer and Fence Enter Odometer values, allowing users to understand the odometer reading at the beginning and end of the outside-fence journey. The Playback option can be used to review the vehicle's movement during the recorded period.

Filters

Use the available filters to generate the report:

• Company: Select the required company.
• Date Selection: Select the required date or date range.
• Time Range: Enable this option when a specific time period is required.
• Branch: Select the required branch.
• Vehicle Group: Select the required vehicle group.
• Geofence Group: Select the required geofence group.
• Geofence: Select the required geofence.
• Idle Duration (Minutes): Enter the minimum idle duration to be considered in the report.
• Geofence Duration (Minutes): Enter the minimum geofence-related duration to filter the results.

Additional options include Save Filter, Delete Filter, Apply, XLS, PDF, and CSV.

The Fence Outside Travel Report has one layer: Fence Outside Travel Report.

Layer 1 – Fence Outside Travel Report

Provides vehicle movement and activity details for the period between exiting and re-entering the selected geofence.

How to Read

Layer 1 – Fence Outside Travel Report

Read the report from left to right to understand which vehicle travelled outside the geofence, when it left, when it returned, how far it travelled, and how the vehicle was utilized during the outside-fence period.

• Company: Identifies the company associated with the vehicle.
• Branch: Shows the branch associated with the vehicle.
• Object: Identifies the vehicle or tracking object that travelled outside the selected geofence.
• Driver: Shows the driver associated with the vehicle during the recorded activity.
• Fence Name: Identifies the geofence from which the vehicle exited.
• Fence Exit Time: Shows the date and time when the vehicle exited the selected geofence.
• Fence Exit Odometer: Displays the odometer reading recorded when the vehicle exited the geofence.
• Fence Enter Time: Shows the date and time when the vehicle entered the geofence again.
• Fence Enter Odometer: Displays the odometer reading recorded when the vehicle re-entered the geofence.
• Out Duration (HH:MM): Shows the total duration for which the vehicle remained outside the selected geofence.
• Distance: Displays the distance travelled by the vehicle while it was outside the geofence.
• Running (HH:MM): Shows the total duration for which the vehicle was running outside the geofence.
• Idle (HH:MM): Displays the total time the vehicle remained idle outside the geofence.
• Stop (HH:MM): Shows the total time the vehicle remained stopped outside the geofence.
• Inactive (HH:MM): Displays the duration for which the vehicle was inactive outside the geofence.
• Playback: Allows users to review the vehicle's movement during the period it remained outside the geofence.

For example, if the Fence Exit Time is 01-09-2026 02:55 AM and the Fence Enter Time is 01-09-2026 04:15 AM, the Out Duration shows the time the vehicle spent outside the fence. The Distance, Running, Idle, Stop, and Inactive columns then provide a breakdown of the vehicle's activity during that period.

The Fence Exit Odometer and Fence Enter Odometer can be compared to understand the odometer progression while the vehicle was outside the geofence.

Take Action

• Apply Company, Branch, Vehicle Group, Geofence Group, and Geofence filters to focus on the required vehicles and locations.
• Review Fence Exit Time and Fence Enter Time to identify when vehicles left and returned to the geofence.
• Compare Fence Exit Odometer and Fence Enter Odometer to review odometer movement.
• Review Out Duration to identify vehicles that remained outside the geofence for longer periods.
• Analyze Distance, Running, Idle, Stop, and Inactive values to understand vehicle activity outside the fence.
• Use Playback to investigate the vehicle's movement during the outside-fence journey.
• Export the report in XLS, PDF, or CSV format for further analysis.
