Fence Inside Travel Report

The Fence Inside Travel Report provides detailed information about vehicle movement while the vehicle remains inside a configured geofence. It helps users understand when a vehicle entered and exited a geofence, how long it remained inside, how much it travelled, and how much time was spent running, idling, stopped, or inactive within the fence.

The report also provides a Playback option to review the vehicle's movement during its time inside the selected geofence.

Filters

Use the available filters to generate the report:

• Company: Select the required company.
• Date Selection: Select the required date or date range.
• Time Range: Enable this option when a specific time period is required.
• Branch: Select the required branch.
• Vehicle Group: Select the required vehicle group.
• Geofence Group: Select the required geofence group.
• Geofence: Select the required geofence.
• Idle Duration (Minutes): Enter the minimum idle duration to be considered in the report.
• Geofence Duration (Minutes): Enter the minimum duration for which the vehicle must remain inside the geofence.

Additional options include Save Filter, Delete Filter, Apply, XLS, PDF, and CSV.

The Fence Inside Travel Report has one layer: Fence Inside Travel Report.

Layer 1 – Fence Inside Travel Report

Provides the vehicle's movement and activity details while it remains inside the selected geofence.

How to Read

Layer 1 – Fence Inside Travel Report

Read the report from left to right to understand which vehicle entered the geofence, when it entered and exited, how long it stayed inside, and how it behaved during that period.

• Company: Identifies the company associated with the vehicle.
• Branch: Shows the branch associated with the vehicle.
• Object: Identifies the vehicle or tracking object that entered the geofence.
• Driver: Shows the driver associated with the vehicle during the recorded activity.
• Fence Name: Identifies the geofence in which the vehicle travelled.
• Fence Enter Time: Shows the date and time when the vehicle entered the selected geofence.
• Fence Exit Time: Shows the date and time when the vehicle exited the geofence.
• Duration (HH:MM): Displays the total time the vehicle remained inside the geofence between entry and exit.
• Distance: Shows the distance travelled by the vehicle while inside the geofence.
• Running (HH:MM): Displays the total time the vehicle was running within the geofence.
• Idle (HH:MM): Shows the total time the vehicle remained idle within the geofence.
• Stop (HH:MM): Displays the total time the vehicle remained stopped within the geofence.
• Inactive (HH:MM): Shows the period during which the vehicle was inactive while inside the geofence.
• Playback: Allows users to review the vehicle's movement and activity during the selected fence visit.

For example, if Fence Enter Time is 14-09-2026 12:34 PM and Fence Exit Time is 14-09-2026 01:49 PM, the Duration indicates the total time spent inside that fence. The Running, Idle, Stop, and Inactive columns then explain how that time was utilized.

Take Action

• Apply Company, Branch, Vehicle Group, Geofence Group, and Geofence filters to focus on specific vehicle activity.
• Use Idle Duration to identify vehicles that remained idle for the specified duration.
• Use Geofence Duration to focus on visits meeting the required minimum time inside the fence.
• Compare Duration with Running, Idle, Stop, and Inactive time to understand vehicle activity within the geofence.
• Review Fence Enter Time and Fence Exit Time to understand the timing of each visit.
• Select Playback to review the vehicle's movement during its stay inside the geofence.
• Export the report in XLS, PDF, or CSV format for further analysis.
