Driver Trips

The Driver Trips Report provides a detailed view of trips completed by selected drivers during the selected period. It helps users review distance travelled, running time, idle time, stop duration, speed, overspeed events, and alerts for each driver.

The report also provides a detailed trip-level view, allowing users to drill down into individual trips and review start and end locations, odometer readings, trip duration, and other driving information.

How to Access

• Report-->Driver-->Driver Trips

Filters

Use the available filters to generate the report:

• Company: Select the required company.
• Branch: Select the required branch.
• Driver Activity Consider For: Select the driver activity consideration method.
• Trip Calculation For: Select the basis used for trip calculation, such as Ignition.
• Distance: Select the required distance condition, such as Greater Than.
• Distance Value: Enter the distance value based on the selected distance condition.
• Date Selection: Select the required reporting period.
• Time Range: Enable this option when a specific time range is required.
• Driver Selection: Select the required drivers.

Additional options include Save Filter, Delete Filter, Apply, XLS, PDF, and CSV.

Report Layers

The Driver Trips Report has two levels of information:

Layer 1 – Driver Trips

Provides a summary of trip activity for each selected driver, including distance, running time, idle time, stop time, speed, overspeed, and alerts.

Layer 2 – Driver Trips Detail

Displays the individual trips for the selected driver, including date, object, start and end information, distance, running time, idle time, stop duration, odometer readings, speed, alerts, and trip path.

How to Read

Driver Trips

• Company identifies the company associated with the driver.
• Branch shows the branch associated with the driver.
• Driver identifies the driver for whom trip information is displayed.
• Distance shows the total distance travelled by the driver during the selected period.
• Running shows the total time for which the vehicle was running or in motion.
• Idle shows the total time the vehicle remained idle.
• Stop shows the total time the vehicle remained stopped.
• Running V/S Stop provides a visual comparison between running and stop duration.
• First Ignition On Time shows when the driver's first ignition event occurred during the selected period.
• First Ignition On Location shows the location of the first ignition-on event.
• Last Ignition Off Time shows when the last ignition-off event occurred.
• Last Ignition Off Location shows the location of the last ignition-off event.
• MAX displays the maximum speed recorded for the driver.
• AVG displays the average speed recorded during the selected period.
• Over Speed shows the recorded overspeed value/events according to the report configuration.
• Alert(s) displays the number of alerts associated with the driver's activity.

Driver Trips Detail

• Date shows the date on which the trip occurred.
• Day identifies the corresponding day of the trip.
• Object identifies the vehicle or tracking object associated with the trip.
• Start Time shows when the individual trip started.
• Start Location shows the location where the trip started.
• End Time shows when the trip ended.
• End Location shows the location where the trip ended.
• Distance shows the distance covered during the individual trip.
• Running shows the vehicle's running duration during the trip.
• Idle shows the duration for which the vehicle remained idle during the trip.
• Stop shows the duration for which the vehicle remained stopped.
• Running V/S Stop visually represents the relationship between running and stop duration.
• Start Odometer shows the odometer reading at the beginning of the trip.
• End Odometer shows the odometer reading at the end of the trip.
• Cost based on Distance displays the calculated trip cost based on distance, where configured.
• Cost based on Duration displays the calculated trip cost based on duration, where configured.
• AVG shows the average speed during the trip.
• MAX shows the maximum speed recorded during the trip.
• Over Speed displays the overspeed information recorded during the trip.
• Alert(s) shows the alerts generated during the trip.
• Show Path provides an option to view the trip path on the map.

Take Action

• Select the required company, branch, date, drivers, trip calculation method, and distance criteria to generate the required report.
• Review Distance, Running, Idle, and Stop to understand the driver's overall trip activity.
• Compare Running V/S Stop to identify the proportion of active driving and stopped time.
• Check First Ignition On and Last Ignition Off information to understand the driver's operating period.
• Review AVG and MAX speed to understand the driver's speed profile.
• Check Over Speed and Alert(s) to identify speed-related events and other alerts.
• Use the + option to open the detailed trip records for a driver.
• Review Start Location and End Location to understand the journey covered during each trip.
• Check Start and End Odometer readings to review the distance recorded by the vehicle.
• Review Cost based on Distance or Duration where trip cost configuration is available.
• Use Show Path to view the route of an individual trip.
• Export the report in XLS, PDF, or CSV format for further analysis or sharing.
