Device Log
The Device Log helps users view and verify the communication data received from a tracking device. By entering the device's IMEI number, users can retrieve the device and vehicle information along with key communication parameters such as GPS location, ignition, power, speed, odometer, actual data time, received data time, and device status.
The report also provides the Data String received from the device, which can be used for technical analysis and troubleshooting of device communication or data-related issues. Users can also download communication data for a selected period, subject to the available data range.

How to Access
- Report-->Log-->Device Log
Filters
Use the available fields to retrieve device information:
- IMEI Number: Enter the IMEI number of the required device. This is a mandatory field.
- Download Data From: Select the start date and time for the required communication data.
- To: Select the end date and time for the required communication data.
Click the Search icon next to the IMEI Number to retrieve the device details.
Report Information
The Device Log displays the following information:
- Company: Company associated with the device.
- Branch: Branch associated with the device.
- Object: Vehicle/object assigned to the device.
- Device Model: Model of the tracking device.
- SIM No: SIM number associated with the device.
- IMEI No: IMEI number of the device.
- Latitude: Latitude received from the device.
- Longitude: Longitude received from the device.
- Ignition: Ignition status received from the device.
- Power: Power information received from the device.
- Speed: Speed received from the device.
- Odometer: Odometer value received from the device.
- Data Actual Time: Time associated with the data generated by the device.
- Data Received Time: Time when the platform received the data.
- Status: Current status of the device communication.
- Data String: Raw communication data received from the device.
How to Use
- Enter the IMEI Number of the required device.
- Click the Search icon.
- Review the device and object details displayed.
- Compare Data Actual Time and Data Received Time to identify any communication delay.
- Verify Latitude, Longitude, Ignition, Power, Speed, and Odometer values.
- Check the Status to understand the device's current communication state.
- Review the Data String when detailed technical investigation is required.
- Select the Download Data From and To dates to download communication data.
Take Action
- Verify the device details when investigating communication issues.
- Compare actual and received data times when data appears delayed.
- Check GPS and vehicle parameters when incorrect data is reported.
- Review the raw Data String for technical troubleshooting.
- Download recent communication data when further analysis is required.
Important Notes
- IMEI Number is mandatory to retrieve device information.
- Device communication data can be generated/downloaded for only the last 7 days.
- Data Actual Time and Data Received Time may differ when there is a delay in data transmission or reception.
- The Data String contains raw data received from the device and may require technical knowledge for interpretation.
- The information displayed depends on the data received from the tracking device.
