Alert Status Report
The Alert Status Report helps you monitor and manage alerts generated for your vehicles or objects within a selected period.
It gives you a consolidated view of the alerts, including what happened, when it happened, where it happened, how serious it was, and whether the alert has been addressed.
This report helps you move from simply receiving alerts to reviewing, investigating, and documenting them.

How to Read the Report
The Alert Status Report should be read from a business-action perspective, rather than reviewing every column individually.
1. Identify the Alerts That Need Attention
Start by checking the Alert type and Severity.
For example, a High severity alert may require more immediate attention than a Low severity alert.
This allows the fleet team to prioritize alerts instead of reviewing every event with the same level of urgency.
2. Understand What Happened
Review the Alert Information to understand the event that triggered the alert.
For example:
- Fuel refill
- Harsh acceleration
- Camera cover
- Job status/departure
- Engine-related events
This helps the team understand the type of incident that occurred and determine whether further investigation is required.
3. Check Where and When It Happened
Use the Alert Date Time and Location to understand when and where the event occurred.
This can help the fleet team:
- Verify the incident location.
- Compare the event with the vehicle's activity.
- Investigate unusual events.
- Discuss the incident with the driver when required.
4. Review and Document the Action Taken
After investigating an alert, the team can use the available Comment option to add relevant notes about the incident.
For example:
"Checked with driver. Vehicle was refueled at the assigned fuel station."
This creates a record of what was found and what action was taken.
5. Track Alert Closure
Once an alert has been reviewed and addressed, check the Alert Closure By, Alert Closure Time, and Reason information.
This helps management understand:
- Which alerts have been handled.
- Who handled them.
- When they were closed.
- Why the alert was closed.
This makes the report useful not only for alert monitoring, but also for follow-up and accountability.
Benefits of the Report
- Prioritize Critical Alerts
Quickly identify high-severity events that require immediate attention. - Improve Incident Investigation
