[FAQs](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/trakzee?hsLang=en#faqs) # Why was the scheduled report not received? ### **Issue Title** - Scheduled report not received ### **Issue Summary** A scheduled report may not be received when the report schedule is inactive or incorrectly configured, the recipient details are incorrect, the report generation fails, or the email/notification delivery service does not successfully deliver the report. ### **Symptoms / How to Identify** - The scheduled report was not received at the expected time. - The report schedule shows as active, but no report was delivered. - The report was generated but not received by the recipient. - Some scheduled reports are received while others are missing. - The report is received late. - The report is generated successfully but the email attachment is missing. - Other recipients receive the report while a specific recipient does not. ### **Information Required Before Troubleshooting** - Report name - Vehicle/Object name or ID - Scheduled date and time - Recipient name - Recipient email address - Report schedule and frequency - Report format - Date/time range configured for the report - Schedule status - Report generation status/log, if available - Notification/email delivery status, if available - Screenshot of the schedule configuration - Whether other scheduled reports are being received ### **Troubleshooting Steps** #### Check on Device - Verify that the vehicle/device generated the data required for the scheduled report. - Check whether the device was Online and transmitting data during the scheduled report period. - Verify that the required historical data is available. - Check for missing, delayed, or incomplete device data. - If the report depends on a specific parameter, verify that the device generated that parameter correctly. #### Check in System - Verify that the scheduled report is **active/enabled**. - Check the configured **schedule, frequency, date, and time**. - Verify the selected vehicles/objects and report filters. - Confirm that the recipient is correctly assigned. - Verify the recipient's email address or configured notification details. - Check whether the report was generated at the scheduled time. - Check the report generation and delivery status, if available. - Verify whether the report is available manually for the same date/time period. - Check whether the report was sent but failed or bounced during delivery. - Try generating and sending the report manually to verify the configuration. #### Check Email / Notification Delivery 1. Check the recipient's **Inbox, Spam, or Junk** folder. 2. Verify that the email address is correct and active. 3. Check whether the email was rejected or bounced. 4. Verify the email/notification service status, if available. 5. Check whether other scheduled reports are successfully reaching the same recipient. #### Compare and Identify - **Report cannot be generated manually:** Investigate report data or configuration. - **Report generates manually but not on schedule:** Check the scheduled report configuration or scheduler service. - **Report is generated but not sent:** Investigate notification/email processing. - **Report is sent but not received:** Investigate email delivery or recipient-side filtering. - **Only one recipient is affected:** Verify that recipient's email and notification settings. - **Multiple scheduled reports are affected:** Investigate the scheduler or notification service. ### **Possible Causes** - Scheduled report is disabled. - Incorrect schedule or frequency. - Incorrect date/time or timezone configuration. - Incorrect vehicle/object selection. - Incorrect report filters. - Recipient not assigned. - Incorrect email address. - Report generation failure. - Scheduler service issue. - Email/notification service failure. - Email bounced, rejected, or filtered as spam. - System processing or delivery issue. ### **Resolution / Action** Verify the scheduled report configuration, schedule, timezone, selected vehicles, filters, recipient details, and report generation status. First try generating the report manually for the same period. If the report generates successfully but is not delivered according to the schedule, investigate the **scheduler and notification/email service**. If the report is sent but not received, check the recipient's email account and delivery status.
