# Immobilise Status Shows Historical Information Instead of the Latest Command Status

When the latest Immobilise or De-immobilise command fails, the status displayed under the Immobilise option may continue to show an older successful status. This is because the system displays the last successful ON/OFF status rather than the result of the latest command attempt.

### Example Questions

- - Why is the Immobilise status not refreshing after sending a command?
    - Why does the status show an old date, such as 30 April?
    - Why is the latest failed command not displayed in the current status?
    - How can I check whether the latest Immobilise command failed?
    - Why does the Immobilise History Report show a different status?

### Symptoms / How to Identify

- The Immobilise option displays an old date or historical status.
- The latest command fails, but the displayed status remains unchanged.
- The Immobilise History Report shows failed commands that are not reflected in the main status.

### Information Required Before Troubleshooting

- Vehicle or object details.
- Date and time of the latest command attempt.
- Status displayed under the Immobilise option.
- Immobilise History Report showing the latest command attempt, if further investigation is required.

### Troubleshooting Steps

**Step 1: Check the Immobilise status**

Open the relevant vehicle's Object Tooltip in Live Tracking and click the Immobilise option. Note the displayed status and date.

**Step 2: Check the Immobilise History Report**

Open the Immobilise History Report to review command attempts, including failed commands and other statuses, along with the action taken by the user.

**Step 3: Compare the results**

Compare the status shown in the Immobilise option with the latest entry in the history report.

- The Immobilise option displays the last successful status, whether ON or OFF.
- The Immobilise History Report displays failed and other command statuses.

**Step 4: Confirm the expected behaviour**

If the latest command failed, the main status may continue to display the previous successful status. This is the expected behaviour and does not necessarily indicate a refresh issue.

### Possible Cause

The Immobilise option is designed to retain and display the last successful ON/OFF status. A failed command does not replace that status.

### Resolution / Action

No configuration change is required if the system is behaving as designed. Check the Immobilise History Report to review the latest command result and failed attempts. Use the Immobilise option to view the last successful status.
