For these events to be considered in the Safety Score calculation, the corresponding events must be received directly from the device. Alerts configured using **Custom Magnitude** are not considered in the Safety Score calculation under the behaviour confirmed in this case. Creating separate alerts for these events is not mandatory. However, at least one corresponding event must have been received from the device within the last seven days to verify the event data. ### Example Questions - Why are Harsh Braking alerts visible in the Alerts Report but missing from the Safety Score? - Why are Harsh Acceleration events not reflected in the Safety Score? - Why do harsh driving alerts appear in Playback but not affect the Safety Score? - Does alert configuration affect the Safety Score calculation? - Do I need to create separate alerts for Harsh Braking, Harsh Acceleration, and Harsh Cornering? - Why are harsh driving events not appearing in the system logs? - How can I confirm whether the device is sending the required events? - Is this a platform issue or a configuration issue? ### Symptoms / How to Identify - Harsh driving alerts appear in the Alerts Report or Playback, but the Safety Score does not reflect them. - The relevant alerts are configured using Custom Magnitude. - No corresponding harsh driving events are found in the device's system logs. - No relevant event has been received from the device during the last seven days. ### Information Required Before Troubleshooting - Vehicle or object details. - Relevant date range. - Screenshots of the Alerts Report, Playback, and Safety Score. - Alert configuration for Harsh Braking, Harsh Acceleration, and Harsh Cornering, if configured. - System Logs covering the relevant period. - Confirmation of whether corresponding events have been received directly from the device. ### Troubleshooting Steps **Step 1: Check the Alerts Report and Playback** Confirm whether the reported harsh driving events appear in the Alerts Report and Playback. **Step 2: Verify the alert configuration** If alerts have been configured, check whether they are based on events received from the device or on Custom Magnitude. Events configured using Custom Magnitude are not considered in the Safety Score calculation under the behaviour described in this case. **Step 3: Review the System Logs** Check the system logs for Harsh Acceleration, Harsh Braking, and Harsh Cornering events during the relevant period. **Step 4: Verify event availability within the last seven days** For verification, confirm that at least one corresponding event has been received from the device within the last seven days. If no such event is present, the required event data has not been received during that period. Check the available logs before proceeding with further investigation. **Step 5: Verify the Safety Score calculation** If the required device events are available but are not reflected in the Safety Score, share the relevant logs and configuration details with the technical team for further investigation. ### Possible Cause The issue may occur due to one of the following conditions: - Alerts are configured using Custom Magnitude rather than events received directly from the device. - The device has not transmitted the corresponding harsh driving events. - No relevant event has been received within the last seven days, preventing verification of the event data. ### Resolution / Action 1. Verify whether the corresponding events have been received directly from the device. 2. Review the System Logs for the affected vehicle and period. 3. If alerts are configured using Custom Magnitude, verify the behaviour using device-based events. 4. Confirm that at least one relevant event has been received within the last seven days. 5. If the events are received correctly but are still missing from the Safety Score, escalate the issue with the relevant logs, screenshots, and configuration details.   **Notes:** - Creating separate Harsh Acceleration, Harsh Braking, and Harsh Cornering alerts is not mandatory for the events to be considered in the Safety Score. - Events must be received from the device for consideration in the Safety Score calculation. - If no relevant events are received, verify device event transmission before identifying the issue as a platform defect.   -
