The Door Lock Sensor is used to send Door Lock and Door Unlock commands from the system to the vehicle. It allows users to remotely control the vehicle door locking mechanism directly from the tracking platform, improving vehicle security and access control.
Once configured successfully, users can send Lock and Unlock commands from the Send Command screen. Users can also use the Security Widget available in the Object Tooltip to quickly lock or unlock the door with a single click.
Before You Get Started
- Log in to your account.
- Go to Settings > General > Object.
- Double-click on the record for which you want to configure the Door Lock sensor.
To Get Started
- Navigate to the Sensors tab.
- Activate the digital port connection type by clicking on the checkbox given in the Active column.
- User can select the dedicated Door port in the list or user can connect it on digital input port as well.
- in Connected sensor, select Door Lock.

Reading Type: This setting determines how the received data is displayed in the system.
- Direct: The system displays the data exactly as it is received from the sensor.
- Inverse: The system displays the opposite of the received data (e.g., ON becomes OFF and OFF becomes ON).
Please Note: Select the appropriate option based on how you want the sensor data to be interpreted and shown in the system.
- Save the configuration by clicking on the Save 💾 icon.

The Door Lock Sensor will only enable the user to send command to Lock & Unlock the Door from the Tooltip Widget.

To view the Door Lock/Unlock Status, please cconfigure the Door Sensor.
- User can Configure the door alert to received door lock & unlock notifications.
