Cloud Download refers to a feature that enhances the report and video export functionality by allowing users to download reports or video data from video telematics devices directly from the cloud server to their local system.
This functionality allows users to queue multiple reports or video files for download, which are processed sequentially. By eliminating the need for manual handling or physical storage, it reduces waiting times and ensures more efficient and organized access to data.
Before You Get Started
- You need to assign Cloud Download screen rights to the specific user to grant them access to the cloud download feature.
To Get Started
- Once the necessary rights have been granted, any time you request a report for download, it will be added to the cloud download pipeline, and you will receive the below prompt indicating the same.
- The report download request will appear in the Cloud Download screen, which you can access by selecting the cloud download icon located at the bottom of the left navigation pane.

- Use the available filters to narrow the download requests by company, branch, download status (In Progress, Completed, or Failed), request type (Video or Report), and the date range for the required data.
- You will be able to download the report or video once the request has completed processing.
- To reduce the need for constant checking on the report's download status, the system will notify you with a popup and an accompanying sound alert when the report is ready.
You can queue multiple different reports for download, and they will be processed sequentially. However, for the same report, you must wait until the first request is completed before initiating another.
