Sublock MotorLock Status Alert

Definition / Description

The Sublock MotorLock Status Alert is triggered based on the current operational state of the sublock motor, indicating whether the motor is in a locked or unlocked condition. This alert allows fleet managers to monitor the sublock’s locking mechanism in real time, ensuring that cargo containers, compartments, or secured areas remain properly locked or are safely unlocked when required. Monitoring this status helps prevent unauthorized access, operational errors, and potential security risks.

Parameters Considered (Prerequisites)

Sublock Configuration:
A sublock must be configured under Settings > General > Elock Sublock.

How to Configure

  1. Select the relevant Company and Branch.
  2. Under Based On, choose the basis for triggering the alert: Object, Object Group or Object Type.

Example / Use Case

A Sublock MotorLock Status Alert is triggered when the sublock motor changes its operational state — for example, when a container door is locked after loading or unlocked upon authorized delivery. If the alert is configured for both states, the alert is generated each time the sublock motor engages or disengages, providing full visibility into cargo access events. This ensures that all locking activities are tracked and verified, helping maintain security compliance and operational accountability throughout the transportation process.

Action

The selected notification or action must be configured (e.g., SMS, Email, or Notification).

  • SMS: Must be configured while creating an Admin, Reseller, or Company account. After setup, contact numbers can be added to receive alert notifications.
  • Email: Must be configured during account setup. Add email recipients to receive notifications through email.
  • In-App Notification: Choose the notification sound and specify users who should receive the alert notification within the platform.

When Based On: Object, Object Group, or Object Type

  • Object: Select individual vehicles or assets equipped with Elock and Sublock systems for which the alert should be applied.
  • Object Group: Select a group of assets or vehicles with Sublock devices; all within the group will be monitored for lock/unlock status changes.
  • Object Type: Select vehicle or asset types that support Sublock integration; all under that type will be available for configuration.
