Roll Alert

The Roll alert is used to notify users when the roll angle reported by the connected Eye Sensor reaches or exceeds the configured Roll Threshold. The Eye Sensor provides the roll angle data, and the system compares the received value with the configured threshold to determine whether the alert should be triggered.

Parameters Considered (Prerequisites)

• Eye Sensor: An Eye Sensor must be configured and connected to the object to provide roll angle data.
• Roll Data: The Eye Sensor must send the roll angle information to the platform.

How to Configure

1. Select the appropriate Company and Branch for which the alert is to be configured.
2. Based On: Choose on what you want to base the alert configuration (Object, Object Group, Object Type).
   1. Object: Select individual vehicles for whom you want the alert to generate.
   2. Object Group: Select a group of vehicles for whom you want the alert to generate.
   3. Object Type: Select vehicle or object type for whom you want the alert to generate.
3. Select the required Object, Object Group, or Object Type based on the selection made in the previous step.
4. Enter an Alert Name for identification of the alert.
5. Select Roll from the Alert Type dropdown.
6. In Roll Threshold (±) enter the maximum permissible roll angle in degrees, above this value the alert will be triggered.
7. In the Text field, enter the message that will be displayed when human detection is triggered.
8. Select the Valid Days, Everyday or Custom.
   1. Everyday: This alert will be triggered, everyday in case of a violation in accordance to these parameters set.
   2. Custom: Mark the checkboxes of the days, when you want this alert to be triggered for. (eg., Sun, Mon and Sat)
      
9. Enter the Valid Time From and To to define the time period during which the alert should be active.
10. Select the required Timezone. The alert will be evaluated according to the selected timezone.
11. Select the Severity of the alert (Low, Medium, or High).
12. Under Action, select the required method for receiving the alert:
    1. SMS: To receive an alert by SMS, enable the checkbox, enter the phone numbers.
    2. Email: To receive an alert by Email, enable the checkbox, enter the recipients of the email.
    3. Notification: To receive an alert on the system Push Notification, enable checkbox.
       1. From Users, select the users that will receive the notification.
       2. From Notification Sound. Select the sound from the drop-down that will be played for this notification.
    4. IVR: To receive the alert through an automated voice call, enable the checkbox and enter the required phone numbers.
13. Click the Save 💾 icon to save the alert configuration.

Example

If the Roll Threshold is configured as 10°, the system monitors the roll angle received from the Eye Sensor.

• If the roll angle remains within ±10°, the Roll alert will not be triggered.
• If the roll angle reaches or exceeds the configured threshold, such as +10° or -10°, the Roll alert will be triggered.
