[Alert](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/trakzee?hsLang=en#alert) # Pitch Alert The **Pitch** alert is used to notify users when the pitch angle reported by the connected **Eye Sensor** reaches or exceeds the configured **Pitch Threshold**. The Eye Sensor provides the pitch angle data, and the system compares the received value with the configured threshold to determine whether the alert should be triggered. ![](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Aug-10-2026-08-14-46-9090-AM.png?width=536&height=508&name=image-png-Aug-10-2026-08-14-46-9090-AM.png) #### **Parameters Considered (Prerequisites)** - **Eye Sensor:** An Eye Sensor must be configured and connected to the object to provide pitch angle data. - **Pitch Data:** The Eye Sensor must send the pitch angle information to the platform. ### How to Configure 1. Select the appropriate **Company** and **Branch** for which the alert is to be configured. 2. **Based On:** Choose on what you want to base the alert configuration (Object, [Object Group](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/trakzee/add-object-group?hsLang=en), Object Type). 1. **Object:** Select individual vehicles for whom you want the alert to generate. 2. **[Object Group](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/trakzee/add-object-group?hsLang=en):** Select a group of vehicles for whom you want the alert to generate. 3. **Object Type:** Select vehicle or object type for whom you want the alert to generate. 3. Select the required **Object**, **Object Group**, or **Object Type** based on the selection made in the previous step. 4. Enter an **Alert Name** for identification of the alert. 5. Select **Pitch** from the **Alert Type** dropdown. 6. In **Pitch Threshold (±)** enter the maximum permissible roll angle in degrees, above this value the alert will be triggered. 7. In the **Text** field, enter the message that will be displayed when human detection is triggered. 8. Select the **Valid Days, Everyday or Custom.** 1. **Everyday:** This alert will be triggered, everyday in case of a violation in accordance to these parameters set. 2. **Custom:** Mark the checkboxes of the days, when you want this alert to be triggered for. Enter the **Valid Time From** and **To** to define the time period during which the alert should be active. 10. Select the required **Timezone**. The alert will be evaluated according to the selected timezone. 11. Select the **Severity** of the alert (**Low**, **Medium**, or **High**). 12. Under **Action**, select the required method for receiving the alert: 1. **SMS**: To receive an alert by SMS, enable the checkbox, enter the phone numbers. 2. **Email:** To receive an alert by Email, enable the checkbox, enter the recipients of the email. 3. **Notification:** To receive an alert on the system Push Notification, enable checkbox. 1. From **Users,** select the users that will receive the notification. 2. From **Notification Sound**. Select the sound from the drop-down that will be played for this notification. 4. **IVR:** To receive the alert through an automated voice call, enable the checkbox and enter the required phone numbers. 13. Click the **Save 💾** icon to save the alert configuration. **Please Note:** To receive alerts through **SMS, Email or IVR**, the respective API must be configured at the **Admin, Reseller, or Company** level. #### **Example** If the **Pitch Threshold** is configured as **10°**, the system monitors the roll angle received from the Eye Sensor. - If the pitch angle remains within **±10°**, the Pitch alert will not be triggered. - If the pitch angle reaches or exceeds the configured threshold, such as **+10° or -10°**, the **Pitch** alert will be triggered. -
