Overtime Drive Alert
Definition / Description
The Overtime Drive Alert is triggered when a vehicle has been driven continuously for a duration exceeding the configured time limit. This alert helps fleet managers monitor and manage driver working hours, prevent fatigue, and ensure adherence to legal or company-defined driving hour regulations. By detecting excessive driving durations, it promotes safer driving practices and helps prevent accidents related to driver exhaustion.

Example / Use Case
An Overtime Drive Alert is triggered when a driver continues operating a vehicle beyond the configured driving duration without a sufficient break. For instance, if a driver exceeds the defined time limit during a delivery route, the system will detect continuous movement and trigger the alert. The fleet manager receives a notification through SMS, email, or the platform, allowing them to contact the driver, recommend a rest stop, or assign a replacement. This ensures driver safety, compliance with work-hour limits, and prevents fatigue-related accidents.
