Nonstop Drive
The Nonstop Drive alert is triggered when a vehicle continues to move without any stoppage, based on the configured duration. This alert helps fleet managers monitor driver fatigue, ensure compliance with mandatory break regulations, and promote safer driving practices.

How to Configure

Select the correct Company and Branch for whom the alert is to be configured.

Based On: Choose on what you want to base the alert configuration (Object, Object Group, Object Type).
- Object: Select individual vehicles for whom you want the alert to generate.
- Object Group: Select a group of vehicles for whom you want the alert to generate.
- Object Type: Select vehicle or object type for whom you want the alert to generate.

Select the Object based on the previous step selection.

Set an Alert Name for identification of the alert.

Select the Alert Type as Nonstop Drive.
- From Based On, Select the mode for triggering the alert.
- Select Event, if the alert should be triggered based on Nonstop Drive events received directly from the device.
- From Alert per trip, select if you want to trigger the alert one time or multiple times. (a trip is considered from ignition ON to ignition OFF)
- Select Single, for one alert per trip.
- Select Multiple. if you want to trigger multiple alert per trip
- From Alert per trip, select if you want to trigger the alert one time or multiple times. (a trip is considered from ignition ON to ignition OFF)
- Select Custom, if you want to define a specific Nonstop drive condition. the alert will be triggered based on the configured condition.
- Select Consider Break, If you want to add break time condition as well. ( Break Value & Limit option will appear once you click on checkbox.)
- From Break Value, you can select either greater than or less then and mention the value of break allowed in minutes.
(The driver can only take break for the mentioned minutes in the break value, if taken more the alert will be triggered.) - From Limit, Mention the buffer time for the break value in minutes. ( The driver can take break for the mentioned minutes in break value & the limit combined, if the break is more than the combined value the alert will be triggered.)
- From Break Value, you can select either greater than or less then and mention the value of break allowed in minutes.
- In Duration, Mention the driving time, after which the alert will be triggered. ( The driver can drive nonstop for the mentioned duration, and needs to take a break (consider break))
- Select Consider Break, If you want to add break time condition as well. ( Break Value & Limit option will appear once you click on checkbox.)
- Select Event, if the alert should be triggered based on Nonstop Drive events received directly from the device.

In the Text field, enter the message that will be displayed when the alert is triggered.
- Select the Valid Days, Everyday or Custom.
- Everyday: This alert will be triggered, everyday in case of a violation in accordance to these parameters set.
- Custom: Mark the checkboxes of the days, when you want this alert to be triggered for. (eg., Sun, Mon and Sat)

- Enter the Valid Time From and To. The alert will be generated inside the time range that you have selected.
- Select the Timezone.
- Select the Severity of the alert (Low, Medium, or High).
- Mark the checkboxes of the medium via which you want the Action or Notification to be sent. (eg., SMS, Email or Notification)
- SMS: To receive an alert by SMS, enable the checkbox, enter the phone numbers.
- Email: To receive an alert by Email, enable the checkbox, enter the recipients of the email.
- Notification: To receive an alert on the system Push Notification, enable checkbox.
- From Users, select the users that will receive the notification.
- From Notification Sound. Select the sound from the drop-down that will be played for this notification.
- Click in the Save 💾 icon.
Example
If a vehicle is driven continuously for 4 hours without taking a proper break, the Nonstop Drive alert will be triggered. For instance, if a driver starts the trip at 8:00 AM and keeps driving until 12:00 PM with only short stops of more than the allowed break time, the system detects nonstop driving and sends an alert via SMS, email, or in-app notification to the fleet manager. This helps ensure drivers take timely breaks and reduces the risk of fatigue-related incidents.
