Eye Sensor Humidity Alert

Definition / Description

The Eye Sensor Humidity Alert is triggered when an Eye Sensor detects humidity levels that exceed or fall below a predefined range. This alert helps monitor environmental conditions inside containers, vehicles, or storage units to prevent damage to sensitive goods or equipment.

Parameters Considered (Prerequisites)

  • Eye Sensor Installation:
The object (vehicle or asset) must be equipped with a compatible Eye Sensor capable of monitoring humidity levels.

How to Configure

  1. Select the Company and Branch.
  2. Under Based On, choose one of the following options: Object, Object Group or Object Type
  3. Select the Object (vehicle or asset) where the alert should be applied.

  5. From the Alert Type dropdown, select Eye Sensor Humidity.
  6. Select the Eye Sensor installed on the object.
  7. Choose the Number of Alerts:
    • Single – triggers one alert per event.
    • Multiple – triggers repeated alerts if the condition persists.

Example / Use Case

An Eye Sensor Humidity Alert is triggered when the humidity level inside a refrigerated container or vehicle exceeds the configured threshold. For instance, if the humidity rises above or falls below the set limit during a long-distance shipment, the alert gets triggered. The manager can then instruct the driver to check the cooling system or ventilation to restore proper conditions, ensuring that temperature-sensitive cargo remains safe and unaffected throughout the journey.

Number of Alerts: Single or Multiple

The number of alerts you want to generate when the alert is generated.

Select Eye Sensor: Eye Sensor 1, Eye Sensor 2, Eye Sensor 3 or Eye Sensor 4.

When the cargo is big and there are multiple sensors in use, then you can set the alert to e generated by a particular eye sensor which will detect the humidity in the cargo.

Action

The selected alert action determines how notifications are delivered:

  • SMS: Must be configured under Admin, Reseller, or Company setup. Contact numbers can be added to receive instant SMS notifications.
  • Email: Add email recipients to receive the humidity alert via email.
  • In-App Notification: Choose a notification sound and select users who should be notified within the platform.

When Based On: Object, Object Group, or Object Type

  • Object: Select individual vehicles or assets equipped with Eye Sensors.
  • Object Group: Select a group of Eye Sensor–equipped vehicles or assets to monitor collectively.
  • Object Type: Choose a type of vehicle or asset category that uses Eye Sensors to monitor humidity.
