Example / Use Case

An Elock Wrong Password Alert is triggered when an incorrect password is entered multiple times while attempting to unlock a cargo container or vehicle equipped with an Elock. This could indicate either a user entering the wrong code by mistake or an unauthorized individual attempting to gain access. Once triggered, the alert immediately notifies the fleet manager through the configured communication channel (e.g., SMS, Email, or In-App Notification). The manager can then verify the situation with the driver, review access logs, or take necessary security actions to ensure that the asset and cargo remain protected.

Action

The selected notification or action must be configured (e.g., SMS, Email, or Notification).

  • SMS: Must be configured while creating an Admin, Reseller, or Company account. After setup, contact numbers can be added to receive alert notifications.
  • Email: Must be configured during account setup. Add email recipients to receive notifications through email.
  • In-App Notification: Choose the notification sound and specify users who should receive the alert notification within the platform.

When Based On: Object, Object Group, or Object Type

  • Object Group: Select a group of Elock-equipped vehicles or assets; all within the group will be monitored for wrong password attempts.
  • Object Type: Select vehicle or asset types that support Elock password authentication; all under that type will be available for configuration.
