# ELock Unauthorized RFID

The **E-Lock Unauthorized RFID** alert is triggered when an unregistered or unauthorized RFID tag attempts to access or operate the electronic lock (E-Lock). This alert helps fleet managers detect and prevent unauthorized access attempts, improving vehicle and cargo security.

**Please Note:** The RFID event is directly received from the device.

#### **Parameters Considered (Prerequisites)**

- **E-lock Configuration:** The E-lock needs to be configured in the system in order for this alert to function.
- **Job (optional):** A Job must be created and assigned to a vehicle in order for this alert to be triggered.

#### **How to Configure**

1. Select the correct **Company** and **Branch** for whom the alert is to be configured.
2. **Based On:** Choose on what you want to base the alert configuration (Object, [Object Group](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/trakzee/add-object-group?hsLang=en), Object Type).
   
     1. **Object:** Select individual vehicles for whom you want the alert to generate.
     2. **Object Group:** Select a group of vehicles for whom you want the alert to generate.
     3. **Object Type:** Select vehicle or object type for whom you want the alert to generate.
3. Select the **Object** based on the previous step selection.
4. Set an **Alert Name** for identification of the alert.
5. Select the **Alert Type** as *ELock Unauthorized RFID.*
6. In **Based On,** Select On job or All Event. 
     1. Select **On Job,** If you want the alert to be triggered when job is assigned to the vehicle and event data is received on that Job.
     2. Select **All Event,** if you want the alert to be triggered whenever the event data is received.
7. In the **Text** field, enter the message that will be displayed when the alert is triggered.
8. Select the **Valid Days, Everyday or Custom.**  
     1. **Everyday:** This alert will be triggered, everyday in case of a violation in accordance to these parameters set.
     2. **Custom:** Mark the checkboxes of the days, when you want this alert to be triggered for. (eg., Sun, Mon and Sat)

9. Enter the **Valid Time From** and **To.** The alert will be generated inside the time range that you have selected.
10. Select the **Timezone**.
11. Select the **Severity** of the alert (**Low**, **Medium**, or **High**).
12. Mark the checkboxes of the medium via which you want the **Action or Notification** to be sent. (eg., **SMS, Email or Notification**)  
      1. **SMS**: To receive an alert by SMS, enable the checkbox, enter the phone numbers.
      2. **Email:** To receive an alert by Email, enable the checkbox, enter the recipients of the email.
      3. **Notification:** To receive an alert on the system Push Notification, enable checkbox. 
             1. From **Users,**  select the users that will receive the notification.
             2. From **Notification Sound**. Select the sound from the drop-down that will be played for this notification.
13. Click **Save 💾 icon.** to save the alert configuration.

**Please Note:** To Receive the alert on SMS & Email, the api should be configured either on Admin, Reseller or Company.

#### **Example**

The E-Lock Unauthorized RFID alert is triggered when an unauthorized RFID tag is used to access or operate the electronic lock. Notifications are sent based on the configured actions (SMS, email, or in-app notification), enabling fleet managers to quickly identify and respond to potential security threats or unauthorized access attempts.
