Example / Use Case

A DMS Driver Back Alert is triggered when the installed DMS camera detects that the driver has returned to the seat or come back into the camera’s view after being temporarily absent. This alert helps ensure that the driver is present and ready to resume vehicle operation safely, improving visibility into driver behavior and ensuring continuity during the trip.

Action

The selected notification or action must be configured (e.g., SMS, Email, or Notification).

  • SMS: SMS must be configured while creating an Admin, Reseller, or Company account. After setup, you can add the contact numbers that should receive the alert notification.
  • Email: Email must be configured while creating an Admin, Reseller, or Company account. You can then add email recipients to receive the alert notification via email.
  • In-App Notification: You can select the notification sound and specify the users who should receive the alert notification within the platform.

When Based On: Object, Object Group, or Object Type

  • Object: Select individual vehicles equipped with a DMS device for which the alert should be applied.
  • Object Group: Select a group of DMS-equipped vehicles; all in the group will appear for selection.
  • Object Type: Select vehicle types that support DMS-based driver presence detection; all vehicles under that type will be available for configuration.
