The BLE Battery Sensor 4 alert is triggered when the battery of a specific BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) device approaches a low or critical level. This alert helps fleet managers or operators take timely action to recharge or replace the device battery, ensuring uninterrupted operation of sensors and associated monitoring systems.
Parameters Considered (Prerequisites)
- BLE Battery Sensor 4: BLE Battery Sensor 3 must be selected on the sensors connected list for this alert to be triggered while adding an object.
How to Configure
- Select the relevant Company and Branch.
- From the Alert Type dropdown, choose BLE Battery Sensor 4.
- Enter an Alert Name as per your preference.
- Enter a descriptive Text message (e.g., “BLE Sensor 4 battery low”).
- Configure Valid Days — choose Everyday or Custom, and specify the days if custom.
- Set Valid Time From / To to define when the alert should be active.
- Select the appropriate TimeZone.
- Set the Severity Level (Low, Medium, or High) based on criticality.
- Select preferred notification methods — SMS, Email, or In-App Notification.
- Click Save to activate the alert.
Use Case
A BLE Battery Sensor 4 alert is triggered when the connected device’s battery approaches a low level. Notifications are sent via SMS, Email, or In-App Notification to fleet managers or operators, enabling timely maintenance or battery replacement to prevent sensor downtime and ensure continuous monitoring of vehicle or environmental parameters.
When Based On: Object, Object Group, or Object Type
- Object: Select individual vehicles or assets equipped with BLE Sensor 4.
- Object Group: Select a group of vehicles/assets with BLE Sensor 4; all devices in the group appear for selection.
- Object Type: Select vehicle or device types equipped with BLE Sensor 4; all under that type will be available.
