ADAS Headway Monitor Warning

The Headway Monitor Warning alert is used to notify users when the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) detects that the vehicle is not maintaining the required headway or following distance from the vehicle ahead. This alert helps fleet operators monitor unsafe following behavior and improve driver awareness and road safety.

Example

A vehicle equipped with ADAS is following another vehicle too closely, and the system detects that the required headway is not being maintained. The ADAS generates a Headway Monitor Warning event, which triggers the configured alert. The selected users receive a notification, allowing the fleet operator to review the event and take appropriate action to improve following-distance compliance.
