GSM Signal Loss
Definition / Description
The GSM Signal Loss alert is triggered when the device loses connection to the GSM network. This alert helps fleet managers detect potential communication issues, monitor device connectivity, and ensure continuous tracking of vehicles or assets.
How to Configure
- Select the correct Company and Branch.
- From the Alert Type dropdown, choose GSM Signal Loss.
- Enter a description in the Text field (e.g., “GSM signal lost”).
- Configure Valid Days and Valid Time From / To.
- Choose the appropriate TimeZone.
- Set the Severity Level (Low / Medium / High).
- Select the notification method: SMS, Email, or In-App Notification.
- Click Save.
Use Case
A GSM Signal Loss alert is triggered when the device loses GSM network connectivity. Notifications are sent via SMS, Email, or In-App Notification, allowing fleet managers to investigate communication issues and ensure uninterrupted tracking of vehicles or assets.
