ADAS Forward Collision
Definition / Description
The ADAS Forward Collision alert is triggered when the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) detects a potential collision with an object in front of the moving object.
This alert helps in preventing accidents by notifying the driver and fleet manager about possible collisions, enabling quick corrective actions such as braking or steering.

Parameters Considered (Prerequisites)
ADAS Device / Camera Installed:
An ADAS-enabled device or camera must be installed and properly configured on the object screen to monitor forward distance and obstacles.
How to Configure
- Select the correct Company and Branch for which you want to configure the alert.
- Choose the configuration base: Object, Object Group, or Object Type.
- Enter an Alert Name (e.g., ADAS Forward Collision Warning).
- Select the Alert Type as ADAS Forward Collision.
- In the Text field, enter the message that will be displayed when the alert is triggered (e.g., Forward Collision Detected by ADAS).
- Select Valid Days:
- Everyday – applies daily.
- Custom – choose specific days (e.g., Mon–Fri).
- Enter Valid Time From and To (e.g., 08:00 to 20:00).
- Select the Timezone.
- Choose the Severity: Low, Medium, or High.
- Select the Action or Notification method: SMS, Email or In-App.
- Click Save to complete the configuration.
Example / Use Case
If the ADAS system detects that the object is rapidly approaching another object or obstacle in front at a dangerous speed, an ADAS Forward Collision alert will be triggered.
As per configuration, a notification will be sent via SMS,Email or In-App.
SMS: To receive an alert by SMS, enable the checkbox, enter the phone numbers and it is supposed to be configured when creating a reseller account, a company account or an admin account.
Email: To receive an alert by Email, enable the checkbox, enter the recipients of the email, and it is supposed to be configured when creating a reseller account, a company account or an admin account and verified while configuring the Alert.
In-App: Enable the checkbox and you’ll receive notifications according to the Severity Set i.e Low, Medium or High.
When Based On: Object, Object Group, or Object Type
- Object: Select individual vehicles for whom you want the alert to be applied equipped with ADAS features.
- Object Group: Select a group of vehicles for whom you want the alert to be applied equipped with ADAS features.
- Object Type:Select vehicle or object type for whom you want the alert to be applied equipped with ADAS features.
